The flashing LEDs on the back only flash four times when you get a message - kind of a breathing/fading on and off effect. They're a muted yellow color. By the time the standard audio message alert is over, the led's have stopped flashing. It takes about 3 seconds. It would have been nice if they kept blinking until you read the message or activated another feature on the phone or something...
There is also a similar colored yellowish LED beneath the "5" key on the front that flashes in sequence with the back ones. This one seems completely pointless to me...
Of all the phones I've had I regret getting rid of my T650i. Screaming SAR level and all. One of the better ear piece volume SE phones I've used. Not to mention the RF was as good as my quad-band K790a if not better (I assume there's a high SAR level for a reason).
What would you like to see pics of? I'll be glad to snap some more.

I have to agree after using it for a day now, the earpiece is the best I've heard from a SE phone, or any other phone for that matter IMO. The reception/RF is great too. This phone may not have a lot of awesome apps or features, but for just plain ole usability, it is the best I've used. Navigating the keypad and menus/buttons is a snap, and the phone just feels comfortable in hand. It feels nice and solid too. It doesn't feel so small, but fits in my pocket nicely without feeling bulky.

Yeah, the "light effects" on this phone are near useless because you never get to see them. It might seem cool to have the rear strip light up, but its over so quickly it might as well not even exist. There is also a small red LED inside the ambient light sensor on the front that blinks when the battery gets very low (below 5% I believe). I wish they would make it so that LED would flash for missed events until you acknowledged them, especially since the phone has no sleep mode clock so there is no easy way to glance at the phone to see if you've missed anything.
Other than that, it is my favorite SE phone so far. Call quality is quite good, though it still could be louder volume wise. I'm honestly not sure if this is SE's fault or AT&T's, but it seems to me that whenever there is a lot of background noise going on (like outdoors), the phone or the service seems to lower the volume . For example, I was in the city last night in a rather loud place. I called my friend and got his voicemail. The first 2-3 words of the voicemail were nice and loud, and after that the volume quickly tapered off until I could barely hear it. I know for a fact that the voicemail message is of even volume, so either the phone or the service provider is somehow adjusting the earpiece volume based on background noise. I've never had this problem at home or in quiet environments.
Really though, I have few complaints. The only things I can think of are
1.) The backlight on the LCD is too yellow for my tastes. Whites are a bit more yellowish than white.
2.) The backlighting on the keypad is just WAY too obnoxiously bright.
3.) Call quality on handsfree is horrible. Not sure why, but it sounds like the person is talking through a tin can. My W800 sounded excellent over handsfree.
I have the black version as well, the only minor quirk is that it creaks a little but when im pressing on the bottom corner areas, most noticable when im texting in a quiet area.
It's most noticeable when pressing on the back, beside the SE logo, opposite of the speaker
Sure. The first pic is of the notification light on the back of the phone. It flashes a greenish/yellowish color three, maybe four times at first notification and that's it.
This pics shows the front of the phone. The middle keys flash a greenish/yellowish color upon notification like the back and don't flash anymore after.
chiming in as well. the T650 is my favorite of all SE's it seems to have the perfect balance of form over function. not to mention that it has so far garnered the most attention out of my collection

Beautiful!! I love the looks of this phone! Thanks so much for sharing those pictures. Have you or anyone else here used the K810i or K850i? How would you compare this phone to those two?

I have the K850i and a K790a, no K800i. Though I do like the K850i for what it does, great camera, and the semi touch screen interface and navi buttons is fun to use, I find the T650i a much more user friendly experience.
The keypads between the T650i and K850 are similiar, the buttons on the T650i are a slight little more recessed and feel better. You can slide your finger from one button to the other as opposed to having to raise it on the K850i. Feel a little more "smooth". Plus they are not catching on the navi pad like on the K850i. I found texting on the K850i easier than any other non qwerty phone I've used, and the T650i is even better thanks to the buttons being more recessed and the keypad just feeling a little more solid and no creaking from the phone as I text.
Don't get me wrong, I love my K850i, but for just plain simple use and pocketability, the T650i wins IMO. My biggest grip with the K850i is the send and end keys and how they feel.
The T650i feels more comfortable in hand and holding to my ear. The smoothness of the edges feels good and the weight is just right, doesn't feel like some plasticy toy.
Here is a pic in more natural light:
Here are some comparison photos, though the pics don't really show a big difference in the button hieght, it is there and you can "feel" it:
^ nice pics... makes me want the t650i because it's so sleek.. It comes only in Intl triband though right?
