Q: Pay for receiving international calls? Rates?

I looked on the t-mobile website and it says:

Can I receive international calls? How much do they cost?
Yes. Incoming international calls cost the same as any other incoming call.

Does that mean that if I have free nights/weekends or available minutes it would get subtracted from those first or not?

Yes it will use the night minutes. Receiving an international call is just like receiving a call from anyone else.

Receiving anything whether it's calls or text messages you pay the same rate no matter where it came from if you're in the US. It's more expensive to receive calls and text messages outside of the US.

EXCEPT it's collect calls, it only costs your minutes, nothing else
if you have N/W, and receive internation calls during this time, your call is free

I'm going to Argentina to visit a friend so I called and inquired on rates. I was sent to tech support and the lady said it's free to send and receive texts from the states to Argentina and it's free to send and receive while I'm visiting. I highly doubt this but I didn't want to question her, is this true? She said since I have unlimited text it just comes out of our bucket.

You found an agent who either didn't hear all of your inquiry or just gave you the wrong information. Calls received in foreign countries the rate for receiving is the same as it is domestically i.e. 15˘/message or taken from any package. If you have unlimited you won't pay anything for receiving. You will pay 35˘/message to send SMS from a foreign country whether you have any special text package. International texting to send never comes out of your text package.
