This is a very simple trick, you don`t need any additional software just a card reader (or mass storage usb mode)
1. Change ``PRIVATE`` folder to be visible (uncheck hidden in attributes by right click on folder) with card reader or usb mode....
2. Open built in file manager
3. Use find option and insert ``Private`` (for card not phone)
4. Be patient and don`t interrupt the searching process..... and you should now see the private folder and be able to edit files in it and all subfolders....

Isn't that just the private folder on the memory card? To access system files like we were able to in S60 V2, you will need custom firmware on your phone I believe.
Excuse the noobness, but why would you want to access that folder? What do you gain from it?
If you have the N95 8GB and delete tracks from the Music Player it doesn't delete the Artists or Albums from the lists. To fix it you must delete 3 files from 2 directories in the Private folder.Originally Posted by tehcypress
Touzeen, thanks very much for the tip! I'm just about to try it.
Update: Doesn't work for me :-(
Same bug on the n82 which I just realized today.Originally Posted by gordonshowers
The whole situation is quite buggy. Removing the files seems to work, but also something doesn't seem right. The music player is very laggy and slow.
