Nokia 8600 luna: Swedish Product code

    Hi
I recently became a proud owner of the Luna, but has a another language pack. (English, French, German, Spanish, Urdo, Farsi).

I need a product code for scandinavia, more specifically Swedish.

I would be gratefull for any information in this matter.

^ Hi, welcome to HoFo! This's a friendly reminder for you.

    * I think that you haven't described clearly in the thread title. To serve you better, it is always better to make it to the point with your subject line. Simply put in a phone model or "help" without further summarize your question is NOT helpful. I have edited them to reflect one of your actual questions.

In the meantime, please check out the STICKY thread regarding this etiquette: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=281681

^ There're always risk involved. Try put the original product code back and flash it again. See if it's the problem.

Does it contain the email client? My "Made in Korea" does not have it so I'm looking for the Euro product code so I can flash my Luna.

    Ozzie-

What is your product code? Does it have the email client under "messaging?"

^ Why not tell us your product code first? Made in Korea/Germany/Hungary/Romania/China/India isn't relevant. It's the software and factory tunings.

^ ok, so you have the North American regional variant w/ language pack N. Try the codes for UK: 0546145 or 0550136. BTW, you can find those codes by Google. Just remember, there're always risks to lose something in order to get "more".

^ There's only 1 code specifically for Swedish. Like I've mentioned, the info can be Googled.

I was only able to get 0548200 so far, thanks for your help. I'll try those codes you provided and post back with the results.

^ 0548200 is EURO-A, Latin. I don't know if it'll be more likely for the OP.

I tried 0550136 and 0546145, no email client and the voice command does not work. I also tried 0548200 too and same issues. I then tried 0551946 but no updates available. I changed it back to my original product code, 0551900 but NSU would not update it back to the original f/w.

I went into NSS and went over to the "Tools" tab and under "Factory Settings" selected "Full Factory" and pressed "Reset."

After that I pulled the battery out and it restored everything to the original settings but all of my data is still here. But under "messaging" there's the email client I was looking for all along. Weird.

Under language it no longer has "Espanol", "Francais" and "English", it now has "English" along with:

    Suoimi
    Svenska
    Dansk
    Norsk
    Deutsch
    Islenka
