I keep watching the discussions about the 6800, 760, and others, but I haven't seen anything that's making me want to jump off my 6700 (with WM6) yet. I realized that, basically, I've got it doing almost everything I could want -- and I'm using it a lot.

So, I started thinking about what I'd want next, if I could roll my own post-6700 phone, and I'm curious what everyone else is looking for, too. What does your list look like?

My main things:
-- don't screw up the good things about 6700 (BT&WiFi, touch screen, USB)
-- iPhone size/weight form factor
-- iPhone-like screen
-- iPhone-like orientation changing
-- iPhone-like browser (and, no, I don't want an iPhone...)
-- bring back (and improve) full Transcriber and Draw in Word and Notes
-- faster system
-- more memory and storage
-- better batter life
-- improve the IR for longer range, move to top of unit
-- HTML in calendar and tasks
-- keep standard USB-mini connections
-- keep the headphone jack separate, make it a 3.5mm
-- cleaner Media Player interface
-- camera works as a scanner/fax
-- more ergonomic keyboard
-- more finger-friendly dialers/touch interface
-- more/better voice control (including dictation and email reading)
-- built in (and free) GPS
-- global voice and data
-- true unlimited high-speed data
-- free tethering

Those things all exist currently in one phone, program, provider, or another, so it shouldn't be THAT hard!

In a perfect James Bond-like not-so-future world:
-- full MS Office apps
-- video out (for TV and monitor use)
-- airtight security (with biometric security)
-- over-air MS Money (or Quicken) syncing and banking
-- biometrics, such as heartrate/BP/maybe Breatholizer?
-- electronic credit cards/wallet (maybe RFID chip?)
-- ITB of storage
-- built in infrared keyboard projector
-- built in screen projector
-- built in wireless "keys" for car, car lock, front door, etc.
-- Programmable/wipeable RFID (or whatever) to replace all the office security cards, hotel keys, elevator keys, garage keys, gym passes, etc.
-- built in laser tape-measure and level (if the device has enough gyros to orient the screen, it can work as an electronic level!)

Basically, I want an iPhone-sized device that will exceed my 6700 and add convenience. After that, I want it to also replace my wallet, keys, laptop, and all the other crap I drag around. (If it could dispense Kleenexes, money, and beer, it would be perfect.)
