You might want to re-think that statement. Through out numerous, if not all, lines of business the term "unlimited" has never actually proved to mean "unlimited".
No. In the distant past Rogers has said unlimited when there is a cap, but they haven't for quite a while.

I have unlimited texts, which has been over 2500 in the past. Never been charged for that
WOw talk about specualtion and people freaking out about facts that aren't facts. Seriously people save your blood pressure and stop panicking about what people are saying when they have no idea what they're talking about. Obviously if they're promoting it as unlimited on device they will be monotoring what you're using one way or another. Also they only automatically upgrade you if there are absolutely no repercussion in doing so. So if this thing doesnt work with forein IMEI's or with certain phones chances are you will get grandfathered into the plan that you have. That means unless you change it they won't remove it. They dont upgrade everything automatically, like value paks with 75 txt messages still have the same amount. So will everyone please stop panicking? I don't want to have to lock this thread because then it'll fall way down the list but I will if people don't start new threads instead of following the darn topic.
What is your point? Does Rogers Currently advertise it's cable internet as being unlimited when it is not?
ROFL, my point? why do you even bother asking if you already know? Let's just say I wouldn't put it past Rogers Corporate to try the whole Unlimited (but not really) game again.

No actually I don't already know.
I am saying Rogers USED to advertise unlimited when there was actually a cap. They stopped doing it.
Are you disagreeing with me? Or do you agree, but are just living in the past?

Why are you getting so riled up over this? This is all speculation at this point. I'm neither agreeing or disagreeing with you. I simply pointed out that your interpretation of "unlimited" as presented by this roger's memo might be a little generous given the company's past behaviour. Why you feel the need to put people down I won't comment on. Let's just move on with all the speculation. We got 12 more days of this crap!

lol, I was absolutely not riled up, nor was I being insulting.
Honestly, if it came across that way I apologise.
I asked you a question 3 times because I Honestly did not know your answer and I sincerely want to know.
If I am mistaken and Rogers does still advertive unlimited when there is a cap then Please tell me. How would I know about Rogers Cable? There is no Rogers cable here.
...however based on your response it sounds like you are agreeing that they (currently, not past, not future) no longer do advertise unlimited when it isn't.
just a question.. i was wondering if Microsoft charges u everytime u use MSN messenger mobile
reason i ask this is because on the rogers website it says that u have to sign up with MSN mobile inorder to use it
and when i was signing up i stopped because i read that microsoft will charge 5 cent per message u send out
however i dont kno if it is for SMS msn messnger or internet browsing MSN messenger...
I've used it before, I've never been charged once, and I've been using it since 2006 and I've used it many times last month alone
^^ thx a bunch, cux i wanna get this figured out before joining the $5 plan in feb
sry another question... did u have to sign up for some windows live mobile or can u just use ur live account w/o signing up for ne mobile account
on the website, you have to input your phone number, and it will send you a confirmation SMS, and you have to type in the confirmation number, from then on you can message through the message you got from MSN, by typing "cl" (without the "), and when a contact list pops up, it will give you an option to contact a friend who's online, and to contact them you have to reply to that sms by typing the number that the friend corresponds to, say the list is like following:
1 Joe
2 Larry
3 Monsieur Moustache
4 Random Person
and you want to contact "Random Person" instead of say Larry, you would reply to the text "4 hey what's up?" or whatever you would usually say, minus the "
and from there you should get the hang of it, but I haven't done the inputting phone number step in over a year, the website could have changed since
