I like that community package, but will that require a term? It sounds like it might with the 3 months bonus. I'm starting to get the feeling that a lot of essentials will require a term in the future.

Like others are saying, this is kind of exciting. I can't wait to see how this pans out.
New Rogers sim cards $12.50 each shipped. PM for details.

Maybe I'm crazy, but does anyone else find $15/2mb blackberry data a little insulting?

sry if I missed anything, but I'm currently on the $20 - 200 Anytime Mins plan.
If it gets cancelled, what will happen?? Will I be forced to switch to more expensive plans or there will be new plans that replace my current plan for the same price?

They won't change it on you. You'll just be on a grandfathered plan. It just means there will be no new activations with that plan. You may want to consider switching to the $20 MY5 plan though, if it suits your usage, you could possibly get more than 200 minutes of airtime out of that.

It is not going work. Why would Rogers have a $65 plan for 1GB and then turn around and charge $5.00 for Unlim. Lets think about that for a second. hmm done.

The $5.00 unlim will be WAP ONLY, rest assured.

Lol, well I just did a little training module on this...so here's the official ROGERS answer anyway.

    4. Jack has the $7 Unlimited Mobile On-Device Browsing Plan. He then receives a HTC Tytn to try and puts his SIM card from his old phone (W580) into the HTC TYTN.

For Jack to be able to browse on the HTC Tytn without being subject to pay per use charges, he will have to change his browsing plan to a Windows Mobile Plan.

    True
    False

    THE CORRECT ANSWER IS TRUE.

We shall have to see how this pans out...

Is there any thoughts about a $5 unlimited plan being throttled for speed vs. a $65 1GB plan?

What good is a $5 unlimited plan if it takes an afternoon to download a page?

    Just a thought...
