thanks for clarifying that! I guess I'll switch to the MY5 plan at some point

    4. Jack has the $7 Unlimited Mobile On-Device Browsing Plan. He then receives a HTC Tytn to try and puts his SIM card from his old phone (W580) into the HTC TYTN.

For Jack to be able to browse on the HTC Tytn without being subject to pay per use charges, he will have to change his browsing plan to a Windows Mobile Plan.

    True
    False

    THE CORRECT ANSWER IS TRUE.

We shall have to see how this pans out...
I guess this is why Jack fell down the hill

If only that was an option where I lived. There's only native non-MTS coverage for Telus in Winnipeg (and some small town in Ontario):

Oh, and the mobile browsing for wap is $7, not $5 and for Rogers certified devices only. nonsense.

Users with the $5/2mb plan were automatically upgraded when it became $5/5mb.

I can finally publically laugh my ask off at those impatient ppl who jumped ship to Telus for this. I hope you enjoy the lousy browsing experience on the touch/pearl...for the next 2+ years lol

I hope rogers has something similar in line for smartphone users though. The thought of using my w810 for unlimited wap kinda makes me shudder

So, we are seeing slow changes, launching of device specific data plans. Any indication when we will see windows mobile and smart phone specific offerings?

Yeah... laugh at the guys who get to browse FULL HTML sites for $7/mth while we're paying $5/mth to look at crappy WAP sites.
