It's $80 for 500MB. You're better off just telling them you want to tether and get the $65/1GB plan.

Sorry, I'm on the road and I don't feel like navigating that god awful Rogers site right now...but if you look in the business section > email plans > Windows Mobile plans, you'll find it.

    Cheers.

If I'm not mistaken, Opera Mini 4 displays full HTML sites and runs through goam.com OR internet.com, so if the unlimited on device browsing is limited to goam.com, with Opera Mini you can still get decent browsing.

That is not what I said. I actually said the opposite, I said the plan can NOT be limited to goam.com because many newer phones need to use internet.com to connect.

If one is on the current $5 or $10 option, will it be grandfathered?

Does anyone have any word on what new phones they may come out with?
Other than the Pearl 8120, Nokia N95 and the SE 850???

I really like that $5 Community Value Pack... I'd rather get that than the $10 for 2500 txts that I currently have.

Hmmm...I wonder how well they are going to communicate this one. It has the potential to be a complete screw up.

I decided to use my E65 S60 phone for some surfing and email. I sign up for $5 for 5mb. I happily use my 5mb up for a couple months and pay NOTHING extra.

A few months later I read...$5 for unlimited now. My usage spikes and I get a HUGE bill because of it and THEN they tell me my S60 phone is not allowed to use the new $5 for unlimited. How is THAT going to work out nicely EVER? I will call...and complain...and wont pay...and will insist to use my phone on the $5 plan like I have been previously and they will say no and in the end I will be a PISSED off customer with no recourse.

Well that would be typical Rogers customer service I guess. Can't wait to see how this is officially announced.

I think they need to leave the current options available and let the customer choose.. Unlimited WAP Browsing, or 10mb any data.

For the $20 plan have both included the 5mb plan and the unlim WAP browsing. Or have the format that you mentioned, either way would work. But taking one feature out and adding a new one that the phone does not support makes no sense.

I actually agree with this, except for the fact that people will just start a bunch of new threads about it.

As long as they lock the data plan to the apn, iphone users should be fine. Am I the only one that saw the proxy hack for jailbroken iphones that allows you to funnel data through wap apns instead of internet.com apns?
