Ok, this may be just me but has anyone noticed anything different as far as accessing certain sites through the web with this release? I don't know, maybe Charter One changed their security or something. I never used to be able to check my bank account with any bb regardless of using Opera or the bb browser. I just accessed it now with the Opera browser but haven't tried the bb browser yet. That's weird considering the releases from VZW through the Alltel release wouldn't let me.
Update: Opera will let me, the bb browser will not. Even so, the Opera browser wouldn't let me access it a week and a half ago...
I'm surprised you didn't notice the eliminated pauses while you were still running .81
I don't spend much time watching youtube videos even on my PC. Combine that with the 30s pause/break and I had little reason to do so on the Pearl.
I do watch my DVDs on the Pearl (convert them to the SD card). Right now I've got Anchorman, Ghost Busters, The Office, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles (I'm an animation fan). Great for passing the painful waiting moments in life.
I also watched a little TV on my Pearl via Orb just because I could. Every geek has those moments, right?
OK...so what I see so far as "confirmed" fixes in .97:
- Got rid of delay in going from "someone calling" to "call in progress" screen when accepting a call
- Fixed (for me, anyway) problems w/the Pearl media player not going back to full screen if I used any controls while playing a video
You do need to watch the movie on some other screen first. The Pearl screen does is not heavy on detail on the wide shots. Closeups are great, landscapes, not so much.

That's true, I miss my Pearl
Anyone feel like donating one to a poor person over here? Ill take GOOD care of it, scouts honor.
All you people playing around with new stuff and I can't mess with one to make it better makes me a sad sad person
