True why bury the news of these new features at the bottom of a thread about a dead feature?

Overall I think these plans are pretty good. Especially since they actually say browsing is include. Plus with those Caller ID/VM options these features are sortof of like a Spark option for data devices. Good stuff

I like the title of this thread better. It's more informative.

I never know what to say till i've had a few days to think about it.

i dont even understand how it's a bundle.

for example, the new 45$ email, im, web plan includes texting .. WHEEEE

but .. you can get the 30$ email, im, web plan and add unlim texting for 10$ and save 5$ ....

i just dont get where they think these new bundles are good. do they not have *anyone* working in that department who lives in the real world?

OMG you're totally right!!! That is hillarious!

EDIT - you don't get the call display or voicemail 10 though.

here is some more info form our internal bulletin:

    Quote Originally Posted by bulletin

No, Unlimited Personal Email & IM 15 with included Mobile Browser as bonus has expired effective February 3, 2007

Are existing clients eligible for the new Personal Email features?
Yes, As long as they meet the criteria outlined in the eligibility section above.
Clients must be on a consumer BAN and subscribe to rate plan with a plan rate of
$30 or greater (e.g. Talk to Me 25 + Call Canada 20, does not qualify).
Note: Existing clients on Unlimited Personal Email & IM 15 that migrate to any of
the new features will loose the Mobile Browser bonus.

Why do Personal Email features for PDA smartphones offer unlimited Email using
    TELUS Mobile Email only?

TELUS Mobile Email offers real time push email, calendar, and contacts. As well
as a higher rate of data compression and security. As such TELUS Mobile Email
provides a better client experience and improved client satisfaction. Clients wishing
to use Microsoft ActiveSync should be educated on the benefits of TELUS Mobile
    Email

What is considered Application use? And will clients be charged?
For the context of Personal Email features, applications are considered anything
outside of Email and Instant Messaging. More specifically:
    • BlackBerry Internet Service email and BlackBerry Messenger for BlackBerry
    smartphones
    • TELUS Mobile Email and Windows Live Messenger for PDA smartphones
Any usage outside of these applications will be charged at $8/MB.

Examples of applications usage on Personal Email & IM 15 and 30 include:
    • BlackBerry Maps
    • Google Maps
    • FaceBook
    • Yahoo! Messenger
    • Google Talk
    • Microsoft ActiveSync

Unlimited web browsing and application usage is included in Personal Email, IM
    & Web 30 and 45

Historically data rate plans have provided both on-device and tethered modem usage from the included bucket. Is this how the Personal Email features work?
No, the new Personal Email features (including Unlimited Personal Email & IM 15)
do not include tethered modem usage, clients who wish to tether their device and
connect to the Internet will be charged $8/MB or alternatively can activate on an
Email & Web rate plan or feature
meaning if you have the 15$ feature already you get the mobile browsing for the length of your term included. so dont call in to make changes 8P

$45 is a very good price for everything you get! I'm surprised anything other than browsing is even included. Plus, it's for real and advertised.

    Very very good move, Telus.
    Line 1: (Mobilicity) BTS 25 on PAC - Unlimited local talk/text/data @ $23/month
    Line 2: (Wind) Irresistible35 - Unlimited everything @ $35/month
Line 3: (Wind) Holiday Miracle - Unlimited everything @ $40/month
Line 4: (Fido) Retention - Unlimited North America talk & text @ $50/month
Line 5: (Wind) All in the Family Laptop - Unlimited data @ $15/month

Hey did you guys see there's a new MyFaves 35 plan out today? It doesn't seem all that interesting. 200 minutes + 50 bonus minutes. It's basically 50 more minutes than MyFaves 30 for $5 more.
