Wow that phone looks like it'll be great, especially if its hooked up to the Rogers network.. I wonder when will that phone come out and how much it'll cost?
Maybe it'll be out sometime before 2004...the way AT&T lags with releasing new phones these days.
hmm...interesting. With this phone, i may just be persueded to switch over to Rogers...as long as thier TDMA system is still running by the time this phone comes out.
release in 2004? i doubt the technology in this phone would last that long.
Here I have some real life pictures of the S46 (formerly S47) for you, made by a Siemens employee:

I think it looks nice...ill probably buy it since i'm with Cingular on the west coast, and i'd rather have a Siemens GAIT phone than Nokia.
Can't wait for that phone to come out, anyone knows how it compares to the s40 in diemesions, size and weight.I'm thinking of getting the s40 but I want to see how it compares to this phone
Anyone else notice how it's already branded AT&T in those pics? Maybe I'll be able to get it soon after all...
strange that it doesnt have analog fallback like the Nokia 6340 does...or does it?
Just like my C35i.. Guys, anyone knows where can I buy one of these S46s?
I just phoned the canadian Siemens office, they saying it will be available only in Europe. Damn. I can't believe it.
Anyone knows if this phone is out or not?

I really think it will not be available only in europe, they don't have tdma, it should be out here I would think in about 6 mounths or less becuase I heard at&t is buying alot of gait phones. This sounds alot better then the nokia one.
According to Siemens the S46 will be available in North America only, not in Europe.
TDMA is non-existent in Europe, why would they introduce it there? They wont. It's for NA only, where old TDMA nets are being transitioned to GSM.
this is horrible
all the neat features with that horrible design. is it me or the phone resembles a V. Series V2397 phone without the rubber thingie ?
