Just picked up my wife's K850i from Scarborough Town Center. They had plenty.

I'm on a corp plan too and would like to know this as well. Not on a contract anymore but would like to know if I sign for 3 years with a vision plan, will I get the phone for $199 (New activations only I believe?).

I think if I want it at this price I may have to go through retentions?

$199 is the default price with a Vision plan, even for HUPs. You could probably do better than that through Retentions though.

Really? Spoke to retentions briefly as she could not bring the K850 up on the screen but she seemed to think that I needed to get off the corp plan to be eligible.

Sorry if I caused confusion. I'm meant to say that the K850i - in general as per SE's spec - is CAPABLE of Flash Themes (this may involve unbranding the Firmware; but lets save all that for another thread as it leads to other things like voiding warranty); not that the K850i that Rogers ships has Flash Themes already installed.

Prom I didnt c the laser precision theme in my themes folder, so I dont think the Rogers one does have flash themes on it. Anyone want to double check for me?

Really? That's bizarre. I'm on a corp plan as well, and I spoke to a store rep who offered the phone to me on HUP at $275 and there was no problem in getting me on a Vision plan for a $100 discount, for a total of $175.

Would silicon cases be ok? Those crystal ones' are hell! Once dust gets stuck they scratch.

Does anyone think the touch sensitive buttons will die out or screw up eventually? I read some threads before about ppl's k850's touch sensitive parts are dead =X

I used a crystal case for my K790 and it was ok, it did the job but i had like all these little scratches on the screen part so tht made it look like crap. I also used a silicon case for the K790 and it was ok, it just made the phone look ugly so i took it off

wat is the best protective soloution? silicon or crystal clear ones?
