Your taxes depend on where you live and your primary place of use.
Theres the senior citizen plan for $30 but those are only for 65 and up.

Hello, I'd like to know how much Verizon's 450min Nationwide plan would be after taxes... It's starts at $39.99...so ~$45? Would anyone happen to know? I'm in the Los Angeles area.
Also, is there a cheaper rate with less minutes that's not publicly advertised?

With that said, it would probably be somewhere between $45 and $50 per month..Originally Posted by oneaznriceboi

He said after tax. That being said, with Cali taxes, about just double the monthly access charges and you then have your monthly bill!Originally Posted by chakos151

I am looking to take over a former *Centennial Wireless* Account that was converted to *VERIZON*. Preferably one with a data card, but I won't discriminate if it's a voice plan with a dumbphone/smartphone/whatever. If it's a former Centennial Account and is now a VERIZON account, but still has the Centennial Plan on it, then I AM INTERESTED!

There is always prepaid... I think it's a buck a day access charge on days you use the phone, plus airtime charges. Depending on your level of use you may be able to end up lower than $45 a month.Originally Posted by CornMonkey
When I speak to people and they ask what their monthly plan would be, and if I was talking to you, I'd say $39.99 and figure 10 to 15% of that for taxes. So, it would be between $4 and $8 for your taxes.Originally Posted by CornMonkey
And don't forget the required service charges, which are a fixed amount and is not a percentage, so as your plan price point goes down the "percentage" of your plan cost goes up. For example, NY state has one of the highest taxes on cell phones in the nation. Adding in federal and state taxes plus the surcharges, you're looking at something upwards of 20-25%. However, because the surcharges are a fixed amount per line, when your line is a $9.99 add-on line for a family plan, those taxes and surcharges are somewhere closer to 40%.
There is an unadvertised plan of 300 minutes for $35.Originally Posted by CornMonkey
Is that a "loyalty saver" plan, like the 550 family share plan is? If so, it may be nearly impossible for a new customer to get.

I know they have one for AC2. I'm not sure they kept it for Nationwide but I don't see why not.Originally Posted by WaltA
I have the 300m AC2, and the lack of a 300m plan under Nationwide would keep me from ever changing my plan (again). That's why I wondered.Originally Posted by Eric Leduc

Nationwide does have the 35 dollar 300 minute plan still.
