How to remove Media Net connection?

I unlocked my Duo so that I can use it on T-Mobile and used SDA_ApplicationUnlock so that I can make registry tweaks and such. Moved my email and attachment storage to the memory card, works great.

I configured T-Mobile data connection under Settings -> Connections -> GPRS, and the selected this new T-Mobile data connection as the default connection under Settings -> Connections -> Advanced.

The problem I am having is that after restarting the phone, the connection I selected under Settings -> Connections -> Advanced returns back to Media Net. Also, if I delete the Media Net connection, it is recreated. So essentially, after each restart, I have to navigate to Settings -> Connections -> Advanced and manually select T-Mobile so that I can connect to the internet again, which is a PITA.

Is there any way to prevent the phone from reverting back to Media Net as teh default connection? Or prevent Media Net connection from coming back after delete and restart of the phone? I thought app unlocking the phone prevents this kind of things from happening?

Try using CheckLock to see if it is actually unlocked. It sounds like it is still locked.

When you plug the phone into the computer, goto my computer\mobile device and put this into that folder, then run it on your phone.

If it comes up locked try using the newest version of the SDA Unlocker.

If you're not modding it, then what are you doing?
If there is a better way to do it, I'll find it.....

Thanks, guys, for your posts. I was able to mod my AT&T-locked C810 Windows 6.1 phone to use cheaper Consumer Cellular, which runs over AT&T's network, for both calling and Internet browsing. Tethering is next!
