    Lightbulb WML WAP Site Listings

I figured that this may help those get to some lite mobile sites. Just in case their feeling restricted from the new Rogers/Fido Unlimited ON-Device WAP browsing; although i'm sure XML or xhtml sites will work ... you'll notice a few have xml in the site address.

NOTE: Any Errors that I post will have the
" - " character and is tested on Firefox using K790a & K850i user agent plugin data. Its not a for SURE error for all phones, just a guidline.

This is great and very helpful, however it is not "ON-Device WAP browsing", it is on device mobile browsing. Full HTML sites work just fine.

The fact is that HTML sites work, but they do not work fine on many WAP browsers. Many sites look like utter crap on my WAP browser. There is a real need for WAP-friendly sites.

Prom1 - Great post. I've been looking for some good WAP site listings.

Ya of course, that's why I said it was great and very helpful. I was just replying to what he said about the plan.

The plan is for WAP sites ONLY... NOT full html.

On all ads, or fine print it states wap...

Go ahead and browse full html at 5 cents KB though if you want.

Actually the ads don't all say WAP only.

So if it WAP only you can't go on m.facebook.com? That is a full HTML site. Sure it is intended for phones, but it is still a full HTML site.

We all know you can go on m.facebook.com. So you can go on some full HTML sites and not others?

How on earth could Rogers conceivably expect users to know how sites are configured? They don't. This plan is for mobile browsing, if the site works on your mobile browser then you are fine.

It does? I don't see WAP anywhere on that page or in the fine print. Just browsing.
