    why no buzz about d700

I am quite amazed that there is absolutely no traffic going on here about the d700. Being a proud owner of a se p800 I was just waiting for someone to put out something that could possibly compete. To my mind Samsung has it.....yeah Ok it doesn't have bluetooth (who cares...it doesn't work well on p800 anyways), yeah it doesn't have touch screen....but you know what...I get pretty peeded off with having to continually pull out the stylus to access whatever. The Nokia 7650 had a good idea...merge symbian (sorry you MS wenies...blow your socks off in terms of OS). with a cell phone but keep the cell phone style predominant. It seems to me that the d700 has upped the anti here. Symbian technolgy (for you uninitiates means you can download a plethora of games and other utilities) along with flip phone coolness (fits in your pocket...no dear I am not just glad to see you!).
Again it seems everyone here is loving the existing Samsung tech but I have to say the only good thing about the stuff they produce is the future! (assuming that they can actually put the d700 to market).
Sorry for seeming negative here folks, but why would you want a phone that has the ability to download some rather lame java programs and a rotating screen for still photos versus a similar sized version that will take video and store all the info that you might ever want to access from a normal pda and still give you a huge upside in terms of possible software (ie. Symbian 60).
After reading my own writing I have to add I by no means have any interest in companies that can benefit either from Symbian60 or Samsung....I just think this phone could be the killer...even though I think the sep800 pretty much blows everything else out of the water right now.
    JMHO of course.

I'm pretty excited of whats in store for the D700. No doubt its a great smartphone. People here are very interested in it. Once it comes to market I'm sure this board will be flooding with D700 threads among other numerous models. until then.

Say goodbye to IE and security hazards!....well except for one

I love the D700. I will be getting it the second it coems out. I haven't been very successful, but I have been advocating the D700 in various threads here in the Samsung forums... .
