With this plan, Hawaii residents will also have the option of expanding their home calling area to include Northern California, Southern California and Las Vegas for an additional $5 per month. Customers making or receiving calls outside of their home calling area are charged 15 cents per minute.
For a limited time, Boost Mobile is offering the first month of Unlimited by Boost service free of charge with the purchase of a new Motorola c290 or W385 phone and activation of a new account. The suggested retail price for the c290 is $99.99 and $129.99 for the W385.

I'm only laughing because when Hesse announced the possibility of going with flat rate unlimited I got into so many heated debates with people that said that unlimited could never be sold for under $100/mo because the company would never make any money and it would be a continous loss for every person on a sub $100 unlimited plan.
So I kept using the pre-paid boost unlimited offering that was being sold as low as $45/mo for unlimited voice, pics, texts and web and on THE SPRINT NETWORK on a carrier owned by Sprint as a comparison that it can be done. Granted, it was regional only and you would pay $.15/min to roam but it was still showing that unlimited was possible at a very affordable price since it was already being done by Sprint. So I recommended to take that plan and add $10-20 to it to make it nationwide, slap a Sprint label on it and sell it to the masses. The most common response was that Sprint would still lose money by taking it nationwide because roaming was too expensive when you leave your home area even though you'd be using your own carrier's native network in another major metro area where native coverage was available. In short, people thought I was nuts.
Now the analysts are starting rumors and predicting that Sprint might offer the fire back shot at VZW with unlimited plans starting at $60. I know, I'm just venting but I just find it amusing how things are sort of playing out and it's nice to know I'm not as nuts as people made me feel like I was![]()
Either way, things are going to be interesting in the next few months.
What i do like about the Boost Unlimited is that there is NO contract! LOL. I think ill be getting Boost for a extra phone service in March sometimes. I have Virgin Mobile as a backup, but their plans are high. I still luv my Sprint and SERO line!
