Try doing it through Humpa's site and seeing what you get.

are you leaving in the http://?
Because if it isn't obvious, you have to press the clr button to get rid of that since you are trying load a rtsp:// stream and not an http:// webpage.

Why not just use http://humpa.com/tv ?

EDIT: also, it is rtsp:// not rstp://

reboot your phone, after changing your setting

    then goto wap.humpa.com/tv

choose your tv channel from the list

its a lot easier than typing them in

Ok I rebooted the phone and then went to Humpa's site and tried the Discovery Ch.

    Which is... rtsp://live.mobitv.com:554/3-CDMA.sdp

and now it seems to try to load starting the viewer and then kicks out and back to VZM Home...

Ok... I just did it again and when it tried to start the viewer I hit Ok real quick and it worked...

Kool... Don't know why that made a difference.

    This is amazing!

Is there any chance we're able to access this for a while, or is this the type of thing Verizon or Sprint will find out and block out from us eventually?

No one is going to notice 30 new people accessing this. Verizon and Sprint have millions of customers.

Though that doesn't really mean anything. Maybe it will work forever, and maybe it will stop in 3 minutes.

I mean to say that this isn't something Verizon would support if they found out about it, right?

Why would Verizon want their customers accessing Sprint's TV for free if they could have them pay for their own TV.

Just like Sprint wouldn't want Verizon customers accessing their TV for free when it costs 9.99 for their customers.

    Right?

    Right?
I imagine. But that's rather irrelevant.
Why have we been able to use #777 DUN for free for years with every single phone when it is supposed to be $59/month? Why can we steal GIN apps and games? Why can we use BitPim to load ringtones? Why can we bypass the MMS server and not have to pay 25cents to send a pic message?

They have other things to scrutinize than what 30 people out of millions are doing. You'd think that if they knew, that they would do something - but judging on all the other loopholes, I just don't see it happening. But who knows.

    Thanks themopedwhiz and Humpa...

Seems to be working ok now. I will try some other Ch later. You can save the address in your bookmarks and it will go right to it.

I want to upgrade my Voyager to V7, But No One here has the upgrade yet...

I just got this Voyager Second Hand for $150 the other day and I am going to keep my Orange Env for backup...

Haha, why are you still worrying about this? The name means nothing and has nothing to do with this thread. You've already been vindicated more than once and there's no need to continue on about it. Just be happy we have a free alternative to Verizon's t.v.
