KRZR K1 - Having problems with pst

    Hiya guys,

I can see that this is the best support forum for all things pst, midway etc related.

Okay I have a motorolla krzr k1 - I want to open it up to transfer java games across.

I have it set up at the moment with the modem driver from motorola phone tools.

When I try and set up pst tools 7.2.3 it tries to find
    Motorola Accessory
    Motorola MCU Data Logger
    Motorola Test Command

I have tried to go into the pst folder and find them, but I cant. It isnt the p2k.sys file,

    Please help.

    Neil

you need to get a different set of drivers other then MPt which is not compatiable with other p2k programs.

    you can find them here.

    www.motodev.com.

Did you also install the patch that came with PST.

What provider are you using? Is your phone even Java compatible? If your phone is a GSM phone (e.g. Cingular, T-Mobile, Rogers/Fido, Dobson, etc.) then you're probably fine, and also out of my CDMA-exclusive jurisdiction. If it is a CDMA phone, then I would say that it is because CDMA phones (e.g. Verizon, All(NO)tel, US Cellular, etc.) can not run J2ME (Java 2 Mobile Edition), only BREW (don't know what the acronym is). Hope it helps!
