yup! just updated my 6120 to V. 4.21 and all my data are intact!

Same here, and the GUI does indeed seem a tad faster.

Did you guys update using the external cable and Nokia's software updater or using the phone's built in device updater ? The reason I'm asking is because I've tried to update using the phone's device updater and keep getting the message ' no updates available ' . Am I doing something wrong or should I just use the external cable to update?

AFAIK, you can only update using Nokia Software Updater using any USB cable, i.e. nokia supplied or as i said any USB cable with mini-usb...

Check it out guys, the new firmware comes with some new themes (at least it did for me) : pearl white, pink, sand gold, and classic blue.

The pearl white looks slick as hell on my white 6120!

yup! got that too, i like the classic blue... 6120 now has about 14 free themes all from nokia if you use Download...

Cool bonus but, for me, Nokia Noir is hard to beat. Loved it on my former 6300 and still love it on my 6120C.

Any negatives show up yet with the new firmware? I've been very happy with the performance of this phone with v3.83.

Also, is there any indication with the Nokia Software Update program that the user data will stay preserved? The NSU I have (v1.4.23 en-us) keeps stating to backup all your data before proceeding with the update.

Updated my 6120c firmware from 3.84-4.21...
Evthing look fine at 1st...

But it wont vibrate anymore...!!! HELP!!

Updated too. I like the new colour themes. Can't really tell if the menus are faster or not though.
Mine still vibrates, and at least no more having to set everything back up again!

Will u guys d navigation pad; d chromed 1, will d chrome paint peel off from it?? Mine ad peel off almost all of it after i used it for 2 months...I suspect i have receive a fake keypad.....am i???
