Want to know how to get rid of the Scratches?

well here is a little trick that I've learened from some site~

    its been done before...

    here is what you do

take toothpaste and sqeeuze it on a dry towel....

and just wipe the towel with the toothpaste on the screen hard for around 2 3 minutes make sure you applie a bit or force~

I"ve tried it and it workeD!

but this is just for small non deep scratches!

Is that supposed to be 23 minutes or 2 to 3 minutes?

    i'm guessing it's 2 to 3 minutes.

23 minutes sounds like too odd of a period to wait. i mean why not wait 26 minutes?

I've used Brasso metal polish too. It's like giving it a little wet sanding and works but toothpaste is probably a little safer to work with..

tooth paste is like little crystals. Paste though, not gel. if you use toothpaste (the regular paste) and mush it on your tongue, it'll feel gritty. if you rub it in your scratch, the little clearish/white crystals will fill up light scuffs/scratches.

but of course, it's toothpaste, so it'll eventually come out over time.

    and don't expect miracles.

and this is what i assume... i bought GS27 (CRAP!) which is like the same stuff. and i tried that stuff on scratches on glass... doesn't really work

but if it's LIGHT scratches... and you're careful to rub the toothpaste in and not back out after you've out it on, i guess it'll work!

...plus I guess it'll leave the screen smelling minty fresh.

i think the abrasives in the toothpaste are supposed to grind down a very thin layer of the plastic to make the scratch less visible...

same thing with those commercial quality car paint scratch removers....they are abrasive...i tried that stuff once on paint and it worked ok but is still visible if you look closely....I've also tried it on deep scratches...it grinded the paint down to the primer cause i rubbed too long...

    turbo_slug,

sorry to hear about your car's paint man.... yeah i tried those "deep-scratch fillers" aka CRAYONS on my deep scratches. i think they'd work if you could somehow manage to get the stuff into the scracth AND buff off all the excess so it doesn't make your car look ugly and then give it like 72 hours to harden.

otherwise, you end up having blue hands (in my case my car's blue)...

toothpaste is good for cleaning dirty pennies too! toothpaste has some nice acidic substance in it.

    try it...it works.

the car was not mine and insurance ended up paying for most of it...

and as for cleaning copper, use citric acid (lemon juice) mixed with salt...

that will work like magic...no rubbing necessary...

all i need now is some magical stuff that'll take out scratches and dents in PLASTIC !!!

it was really windy today and my phone flew out of my hand...

it's all nice and scratched and dented... except for my screen which i had covered... i realized though that the screen part costs $3... to get a new NOKIA OEM faceplate and battery will cost me $100. crap
