Question Convert LG570 to Verizon ?

My Verizon 325i got ran over by a big truck. No insurance. A friend has a brand-new, still-in-the-box LG570 ("MUZIQ") I can use.

A local company says they cannot "reflash" (whatever the proper term is) this phone because it is "too new" and the software is not available.

Is there any help for converting this Sprint LG570 to a Verizon-capable phone ?

    Thanks in advance.

Aside from any possible re-flashing you'd need to make sure that VZW will even activate it on its network, which, although has happened and does happen, is very uncommon even today.

Actually with Verizon and the other CDMA carriers now toting that they have open networks, you can use the phone on their network, You jut have to make sure that i meets their minimum requirements, basically it has to be unlocked, and be the proper technology phone.

That hasn't really been put in place just yet, just talked about quite a bit and planned quite a bit, but won't be in place until later this year for the most part.
