I did tell you it was small, LOL!

Do you get headphones with an adapter, BTW? I forgot to look carefully at the accessories. But I usually prefer other heaphones over the boxed ones.
Phone addiction!! Android phones look real sweet right now.

Sony Ericsson, HTC & Nokia fan!!

yeah it comes with headphones with an adapter. all SE's do, no? i mean, i already have a few adapters and use a pair of Shure SE210's. Shure's are AMAZING

Also, the plug it comes with is the one with the port on the other side, so you can plug the phone in to charge and plug headphones in as well ! although i think i'd be nervous of an electric surge coming through my headphones. In any case, I ordered the hbh-ds220 bluetooth headset so the phone can be charging and i can listen to my music on my shure's via bluetooth.

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to look at my other SE headphones to check for an adapter.

How does this phone work on AT&T? EDGE is getting worse here, but 3G better and better, one reason why I chose the K850i first.

So wait, the headphones should have an adapter in the box? Like an adapter from the plug that it comes with to a 2.5 jack or whatever?

I have this phone on T-Mobile in Chicago and it is fabulous - loud & clear and fast!

I drop or get static on EDGE calls around here, so much so I may not be using EDGE phones anymore. So this phone gets good reception on T-Mobile?

I found no adapter on the K850i headphones, but didn't the other poster say the one with the W890i has one?

CORRECTION: I think I misread the post, they already had the adapters.

Where did you find SE headphone adapters?

My phone is great with T-Mobile. I'm even impressed with the data speed!

I have no adapters for any headphones. Is it something you buy separately?

I got the w890i (silver) about a week ago, its a great phone, the battery life is amazing and its so fast when going onto the web, the camera is awesome, i was a bit shocked at how small it seemed but i loved the phone after i started playing with it. I was going to get the w880 but was put off by the horrible buttons, but the 890 is just soo much better.....

Another small gripe is the earphones, maybe i have big ears but i keep having them slip out of my ears as i walk, anyone else get this?

That's why I asked about adapters. I prefer certain brands. Even other types of Sony headphones, but not necessarily the ones in the box! The new ones coming out are supposed to have an adapter, but they might be expensive! HPM-77 or something like that.

You know, I keep misreading Toolhead's post. They DID say an adapter was included, but that they had several others. What kind of headphones are those and do they sell them seperately? I found some HPM 82s but the description makes them sound like they have a 3.5 jack standard, with no adapter.

Anyone finding any exceptional deals out there on the W890i? Everything I see is in the $400 neighborhood.
And how legit are all these retailers on Devin St in Chicago? Seems like they are the most prominent on the web...

They are legit but if you live here, expect to pay tax.
No deals yet, all near or even over $400 is all I see.

A little off topic, but I wonder what the W760i will be, it's got US 3G specs.

Damn! I set up my work email (Exchange Server) on the w890!! Push works as well! Now I have both my gmail push and work mail push! I've been carrying around a separate pda (moto q9h) just for my work email! this is awesome!

I'm still playing around with it. I have the up key as a shortcut to my email inbox. You need to switch between which account is being displayed in your inbox. Some things about this i've noticed:
    * It appears that if you switch from one account to the next, push works for both accounts for a short period of time, and then only works for the account you have the mailbox switched to.
    * Even if set to my work account, if the globe disappears for some reason up top, and I go under the Synchronization menu (where you set up exchange), it will show Push Inactive. If I get the globe to reappear, say by using google maps, when I close google maps, the globe disappears again and push is still inactive. However, if I hit send and receive, push becomes active again until the globe disappears for whatever reason (which it doesn't always do, just once in a while randomly).

is it active sync? or the email client that is built into the phone? cuz i had the k790a and it has the push email client "SE version" but now im using active sync with my p1 and i love it cuz it syncs with my calendar and email from exchange.

it's Exchange ActiveSync. You can sync email, contacts, and/or calendar. I've only synced the email so far. It seems that push doesn't stay connected well though, and that you need to manually check it now and then. You can also set it to check at intervals. I'm assuming that works. Weird since gmail push works amazing.

I can't find anyone with the silver in stock (for a decent price).
    Anyone having better luck?
