    Metro PCS questions.........

Thanks for looking at this post and supplying any information you may have.

I found a help wanted ad by METRO PCS in the Providence, RI. region.
It appears that they will be starting service here (or Boston) in the near future.

I almost jumped onto the Sprint 99.99 unlimited plan and may hold off if someone could provide me a few answers.

    1. Does anyone have an idea of the Boston launch date and does it include Providence? Because we are so small we were always included in the Boston markets before.

    2. What does roaming cost when not on the Metro PCS network?

    3. If you are anywhere in the country that has Metro PCS coverage do you roam because it's considered outside of your home market?

    4. When they launch in a new market do they just put up a few towers to get it going or do they make sure coverage is comparable to the other carriers.

Any answers you can provide and additional thoughts that you could share are appreciated.

The boston launch is suppose to be by the end of 2008 but im not sure if it includes providence.

Roaming ranges from 49-79 cents a minute depending on what carrier your roaming off of, i also head you can now roam off alltell for 24 cents a minutes, but im not sure if thats true.

If you go to any other metro area it is free.

When metro launches they make sure the market is set with towers, that is why the la launch took so long. Then after the launch they expand in that market

Boost going nationwide wont matter, because boost doesnt offer free roaming in other markets like metro does
