[V\AX8600] Using personalized ringtones for text messages?

Hello,
I've noticed that I can't set personalized ring tones for text messages for people who text me? Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere? All I can do is set one ringtone for all messages, but I want it to function more like a call... Say if Johnny texts me I want to hear Johnny's ringtone but if Bob texts me I want Bob's ringtone to play, not Johnny's.

Is this at all possible? I hate the current set up I never know who is texting me until I look at my phone.

Most, if not all, of the recent VZW LG (VX) feature phones at least seem to have gotten rid of that ability for some reason, and it doesn't even seem to be seen as a bug, and more of a feature (of the VZW firmware/UI, or perhaps even of general LG phone functionality).

Wow, that really sucks. I barely ever get calls -- I tell people to text me because it's just easier for me... So I guess I have to listen to the same stupid ringtone every time I get a text.. That sucks major.
