if you are gonna make up your dream phone, why dont you at least have the specs match nokia's current phones? screens with 16 million colors. how about QUADBAND gsm, and quadband 3G? lol

Something the size and weight of the 6120c (or maybe a bit thinner) that opens to reveal a wide screen and full QWERTY keyboard.
Features to squeeze into that small space:
Camera: 10 megapixels with optical zoom and xenon flash that can be used as torch. No shutter sound, of course.
Two sim slots. Or even better: built-in sim cloner and an option to use virtual simcards stored in memory.
Audio: the best available with a 3.5 mm audio jack
TV Out
Battery life: the more the better. Talk time 48 hours or more, standby a month or two. Recharge over USB port in addition to the standard charger port. Solar panel on the back?
GPS
WiFi
Trackball instead of the current navigation button
Bring back the easily replacable covers
Operating system: Symbian, WinMo, Linux, whatever. A real smartphone lets you install your favorite operating systems and can handle multibooting.
im really digging my 6300b. if it had maybe a larger keypad, flash for the camera, a better quality camera. s40v5. um maybe internal memory solution more than like 4mb... im not sure. the 6500 classic kinda fills that but i dont know if i want anything slimmer. plus that keypad isnt my favorite.
maybe wifi/uma (6301)
stereo speakers
yeah. now i really want wifi usable for opera mini.
and maybe a little better rf. not that its bad. i would just always want better.
gps.
and a 3.5 audio jack. i think that would make it really great.
and maybe support for say a bl-6c? may i ask for more?

I don't know whether nokia consider this, and it's better to do
E61i form factor
with cam: 3.2mpx AF main cam, with LED
without cam: no cam at all, but with GPS built-in
penta-HSDPA
7.6cm big landscape screen
qwerty keypad with bb support
S60 FP3 with UMA support
microSD support, up to 32GB
user-selectable language in Nokia PC suite, that can add/remove language on the phone, except English (but can change locale)
2.5mm or 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB jack
irda support (can do quickie file transfer without going through bt)
It sounds as though lk1st has a Nokia 9300. That's my current phone, and I like it, but it isn't my dream phone--just the one I intend to keep using until something much better comes along.
My ideal phone is probably, like the 9300, a mini-laptop form factor, although I 'm willing to consider other versions of screen plus QWERTY keyboard. Unlike my present phone, it has at least a VGA (640x480) screen. The screen is about as wide as mine--4" or a little less--but substantially higher. That means a wider--but hopefully thinner--phone.
The other feature I want is 3G, for a much faster connection than EDGE. WiFi would also be nice. For one thing, I would like to be able to connect the phone to the internet via 3G, then use it as a wireless modem, to create my own hotspot anywhere within range of a 3G network. I've done a slower and clumsier version of that in the past, to create a hotspot inside our car as we drive across the country, with me and my kids connected and my wife driving.
GPS would also be nice. And it would be nice if the keyboard were more usable than mine. The old Psion pda's managed a usable keyboard at about the same size; I wish some smartphone company would license their design or develop something similar.
I thought the Noka E90 might fit my requirements, but it turned out that its 3G is on 2100, which no US provider supports, and the software seemed very clumsy, so after buying it I sent it back. Also the screen is too small. There a number of other possibilities among the announced/leaked/rumored phones, but nothing actually available for sale that seems really satisfactory.
I find my E90 to be damn near the ideal phone. Even the video quality is great (30 fps). The only minor problem is having to go through the trouble of formatting and re-formatting videos to fit on the E90 widescreen and take up the entire screen.
Oh, and a quad-band Nokia 8800 Arte wouldn't be a bad idea, Nokia.
Form factor of the luna with 2.6 inch lcd and n95 features is enough. Same design just bigger to fit in a 2.6 inch lcd. Imagine a big beautiful 8600 luna that is about 190grams
My dream phone.
