themes load but not the menu

    Hi all,

I was using XS++ to add flash themes to my W580i. I added the swf and theme files to the appropriate places, but somehow my phone only loads the themes but not the menus that go with it (it's still got the original menu icons that came with the phone). Do I have to do anything special to make those menus load?

Kinda new to this flashing thing. Thanks in advance

depends on whether the theme's theme.xml actually has the swf line in it.
If you've edited the theme using theme creator that line gets deleted !

Interesting! I actually did use theme creator to edit it since I wanted to attach a customized message tone. So how would I add the swf line?

Yes, from what I've told. It plays mp3's (I bought the phone from Rogers) and it's flashed with a HK firmware, unlocked too. I'm assuming this all means it's debranded?

If it's debranded, a quick way to tell is to select a menu (strobe, spinnin', or splat,) and see if you have your flash menus enabled. If not, then no...

Also, is there TrackID in your Entertainment section?

edit - going to bed, long day ahead tomorrow

The menu icons look the same whether strobe, spinnin', or splat's selected. Yes I have TrackID in the entertainment section.

Ok, how would I enable flash menus? Or does is it mean that my phone isn't actually flashed....kinda confused, sorry.

look for a customize_upgrade.xml to enable flash menus. or you can re-flash your phone.

using Far, copy the xml file in /tpa/preset/custom restart. that should enable the flash menus.
