I paid $60 (3 SIMs) to learn this....
Unfortunately this didn't work for me because they said SIM cards only have a 1 year warranty. Looks like I have to spring the $20

I'm glad I found this thread, I recently scored a N905i, and I'm a Florida T-mo user. I can't wait for my phone to get here, but when it does I'll be sure to post my results.

Can someone post a picture of their SIM's contact side? I'm buying an unactivated SIM from eBay and I would hate to buy one that doesn't work with the Next SIM 6.

I have one question. When you cut the simcard to put it into the simhack, is it still usable in other phones? like a k800i for example.

yes it is, I take my sim card off the simhack to use my 903sh even though it is cut, as long as the contact points are still on, it should be fine

I've saw comments in other posts that in order to get SMS to work, you got to change the SMS settings. I did that i.e. changed SMS settings to user set +12063130004 (International) but it still didn't work. I keep getting the "Transmission Failed" prompt. Anyone has this problem? ,

I started getting this funky icon on the standby screen after I turned off and on my phone... I hope it's not due to that cuz I have no idea why that icon is there in the first place

Here's how the icon looks like (it's the one with the lock):

I love my phone but it drives me nuts!

Just fair warning for those that need a new T-Mobile SIM and want to buy it on eBay, contact the seller to double check that they have the newer made in China versions. Some sellers carry some NOS of the older SIMs that won't work, even though the image may show the newer ones.

Oh, well that's good news then. I just tested 2 different made in USA SIMs and they didn't work.
