Does it lock the phone to ATT or does it just upgrade whats all ready there?
I've unlocked mine to use on a different carrier and don't want to do it again.

Update
Warning: It reflashes your phone and you lose all data and changes you have made.
I seemed to notice better call quality after doing the update. I was pleased and it only took me 10 minutes to get my settings back to normal.
If you have never done a flash install, the download comes with a .pdf of step-by-step pictures.

If you're not modding it, then what are you doing?
If there is a better way to do it, I'll find it.....
It would undo anything that you have done to the phone. So yes, it would lock it back.
While it does perform a hard reset to the phone (all data and applications erased), it does NOT re-enable a service provider SIM lock if you've previously unlocked.
Nice. Thanks for the info. I figured it totally reset everything.Originally Posted by VetteXP
I'm not aware of any ROM update (for a Windows Mobile device) that has re-enabled a service provider SIM lock, so I updated my device without hesitation.Originally Posted by jtindustry
I just saw that this update was available and plan on installing it over the weekend. Is there a set of release notes available, or am I just overlooking it?
Has anyone seen an improvement when using bluetooth headsets? Right now the Duo seems to really hate my H700 headset. Currently, I have to turn on Bluetooth and then power cycle the phone before I can use the H700 reliably. Even then, everyone complains that I'm extremely loud. I didn't have these problems when I had an MPx220.
Just an update... The ROM upgrade fixed almost all of my Bluetooth issues. Call quality is better and I don't have to power cycle all the time when toggling Bluetooth on and off. I like my phone much better now.![]()
