With a Jabra ear-gel, incoming volume is too loud. With the included ear-gels, it's still loud. I'm having a hard time controling volume at the start of a call. During a call, no problems and from the iPhone, I can control the volume just fine at any time.
Well its 50% smaller, personally think better looking then v1 and most other BT headsets out there!!
Earhooks seem small compared with most BT headsets i have tried. So fit could an issue. It does come with 2 leather wrapped and 2 std bendy type supposely med and large but there really seems to be no difference btwn them?
Am using it without a hook which i have been unable to do with other BT headsets, so that that is promising but time will tell
Incoming volume and voice quality seems excellent (BB8830) I am not using full volume as i have had to do on most headsets.
So far had the headset for a couple of hours and NO complaints on the outgoing side? But we will see after a week or so?
$130 is alot!!! So the soundid I have will be staying with me for a few weeks yet!!
I must have one of every headset out. I have to say the JB2 is so much better than the first one. I've had mine for 6 hours and am loving every minute I use it. I had problems with the first JB fitting correctly. This one fit is just about perfect as far as the new noise reduction it works better also. I just came from a indoor basketball game which I received and made several calls. no one I talked to even knew I was at a game I am very impressed. I can also tell you the problem with wind has been corrected. I made several calls standing outside in the wind without one problem. Like most I had been waiting for the Q7 only to be let down. Well I'm sold on Jawbone and I think you will be also if you try it. As several have mentioned $130 seems a bit steep but as has been said many times before you get what you pay for. If you work as I do in noisy environments it's a must. I must also mention my second choice I had also just purchased a VMX 100 by Sennheiser I can tell you nothing sounds better incoming it also does quite well handling noise. Just wanted to add my two cents.
I just picked one up at a local AT&T store, and so far I am impressed. Half the size of the original Jawbone, and so far, it stays paired to my Treo... The buttons take some getting used to if you are coming from a Jawbone 1... The "2nd" button really needs to be pressed from the end (best accomplished by grasping the earpiece long-ways using your thumb and another finger on the opposite end). I found that despite the instructions that describe the buttons similar to the old model, a press anywhere on the face of the earpiece registers as the talk button. I was hanging up by accident a lot until I figured this out (and even then, it's still real easy to hit that button even when making fit adjustments). They finally added a sound so you know you have hung up the phone which is nice, and you can now answer call waiting with the earpiece. Incoming sound is way better (than the old model) on my phone, and outgoing is pretty good (some bluetooth garble reported, but fine most of the time - probably a result of the crappy bluetooth stack on my Treo). With the "small" earpiece supplied, a Jabra eargel fits over it very well, nice and snug. I never used the earhook on the old model, and there is no reason to use it with this one either (with an Eargel).
I also like that the light is much more subtle, and you can shut it off completely if you like (but then I have no idea how you are even supposed to know if it is on...). When I first saw the diamond pattern I thought it was hideous... In person, it's not so offensive...
I haven't tried it with wind yet, but otherwise the noise canceling works as expected. I'm happy.
Alltel to AT&T wireless, to Cingular, to at&t...Leave the name alone will ya?

just got mine!
UPS showed up with it Monday morning.
Only took 50 minutes to charge, paired up with the Tilt no problem.
LOL, maybe in the tilt BT listing it should show JB2 or something, but
shows up as just Jawbone. No biggie.
I use the Ear piece from my original jawbone, which I got from http://www.averysound.com/as.jawbone.html
You don't need it, but I spent the money, dang it! I'm gonna use it!
It fits and seems snug enough without the ear clip.
I LOVE the magnetic coupling for the charger, say goodbye to the end cap coming off.
Incoming sound is MUCH louder to my ear. I haven't had a chance to use it outdoors, give me a day or two...the wind is suppose to be blowing around here the next couple of days, so I'll get a chance to use it.
I have been using it for a couple days now. MUCH better than the original.
it is much smaller and lighter in person. The patern also looks much better in person. Feels very light when wearing it.
1. Incoming sound is better (but still not as good as some)
2. Outgoing quality is very good. (everyone has told me they did even know that I was on a bluetooth)
3. Buttons are easy to press (which I like)
4. In-ear pieces are very comfortable
5. Over the ear hookes are much smaller and are still comfortable
6. Charger is much improved, very easy to connect/diconnect
7. Diamond patter is actually pretty cool
They have improved this headset in almost every way. I think it is awesome upgrade. I really think it's a keeper.
I have tried 90% of bluetooth headsets out there and I think I am going to stick with this one for awhile. Great job Jawbone!

I've noticed something that I don't think is so good with the new design, as I was looking through their website...
Question
How do I reset my New Jawbone?
Answer
To reset your New Jawbone, simply follow the steps listed below:
Press and hold down the Talk Button on the New Jawbone.
Connect the New Jawbone to the USB charger cable (be sure the cable is plugged into an active USB port or to an electrical outlet (via the Wall Charger unit).
Release the Talk Button.
This means that you'll pretty much have to bring the proprietary charger everywhere, if you don't want to take the chance of needing to reset the New Jawbone for whatever reason... and God help you if you aren't near a computer/power source when it happens.

set up an evoca.com account... then call the number to leave a message we all can hear
that's one way
BTW.. anyone have pics of the JB2 in someone's ear?
My JB2 is definitely better than my JB1. I can now put the headset on easily and the alternate clip is comfortable with my glasses on. With a car-to-USB adapter, charging the JB is convenient. My voice came in clear, despite being in a noisy car, so the quality of the call remains good. Unfortunately, it did not improve digit dialing accuracy on my phone.
My only real gripe is that the incoming sound was too soft in the car and there's no up and down volume rocker (it's clumsy to cycle through volume settings). If they'd fix that, this would be an awesome headset.
