If you're already on the 11 value pack, will they switch you over automatically? or will I have to ask for it?

My guess is you're going to have to ask for it.

A colleague of mine had the 20 communication pack before the vision was added was added onto it, and he had to call in to get it adjusted to include the vision.

But as someone already mentioned, your current/old value packs are grandfathered. Therefore, no price change whatsoever. However, with the new packs, it is subject to price change at any time.

OK...the new plans DO NOT jive with what was posted here. Does anyone have further information?

$7.00 Unlimited On-Device Mobile Browsing Plan

$15.00 $15 Windows Mobile Email Browsing Plan

$25.00 $25 Windows Mobile Email Browsing Plan

$40.00 $40 Windows Mobile Email Browsing Plan

$60.00 $60 Windows Mobile Email Browsing Plan

    $15.00 BlackBerry Service 1.5MB

    $25.00 $25 BlacKBerry Email Plan

    $40.00 $40 BlacKBerry Email Plan

    $60.00 $60 BlacKBerry Email Plan

The US Roaming minutes additions are also listed, but who cares about that stuff. What's with these new plans? WHAT ARE THE SPECS?!?!?!?! AAAAAAAAH!! Clicking "More Info" beside the plan does not reveal anything. They haven't filled in the details...

DO NOT GET THESE PLANS!!!! BARF!!

I just got off with Rogers, and here's what you get for the WM ones:

    $15
    U/L Email
    2MB of web browsing

    $25
    U/L Email
    4MB of web browsing

    $40
    U/L Email
    8MB of web browsing

    $60
    U/L Email
    30MB of web browsing

Or you can do what a lot of us have been doing for months and pay $65 for the Flex Rate PC Card plan (And if you get retentions to add it, you can easily get a $5-10 monthly credit along with it!), and get 1GB and do anything you want.. 30MB for $60. What a flipping JOKE!

Once again, Rogers proves they are completely out of touch with their customers.

I haven't seen those on my "Wireless Essentials" options before today. I don't see them anywhere on the website either. I would assume these are new options?

Either way, total ripoff and absolutely useless. I don't abuse the data on my phone, but in a given month I do about 200MB. I transmit images back to the office from the field, via tethering. If they take the $65 Flex Rate PC plan away from us (IMEI enforcement) then a lot of us are totally screwed. These new options are not "options".

Yeah, why cant they also look at those people with unlimited plans who abuse their network and continuously defending Rogers because they are not affected by this stupid data pricing of Rogers

On a positive note, the $65 Flex Rate PC plan STILL shows up as a "compatable add-on" in my account, even tho' Rogers knows I am using an N95 and that I have no pc card. Here's hoping.....

Yeah though the thing is for me (and I am sure many of us) at $65 per month there is no ROI for Rogers data. for me the sweet spot is a max of ~$15. The $7 on device option would be a good price point for me.

Yep...months ago I thought $65 was a total ripoff, but now I'm crossing my fingers that we'll be lucky enough to hold onto it

Here's what I don't get...Data is data. What the $%#$ difference does it make if I use their stupid PC card, or my damn N95. HSDPA is HSDPA. Whether I use their card or my N95, it's the exact same damn thing.

If we all lose the privilege of using the $65 Flex plan to tether or browse with handsets, it's going to be a sad day. It's $65/month they could be getting from me, which they will no longer get. Totally retarded way of thought for them to restrict it to IMEI. Data is data. As long as someone pays...OK, going in circles now.

sort of like an ISP saying its 29.99 a month for internet if you use a MAC, but if ur using a PC its a different story and doesnt count. rogers is really messed.
    My Plans x2 (Fido): $50 Unlim wCanUS-LDandSMS/$30 6gig/$10 callID/vm (-$10credits.each) = $80+tax
