its on the website now, under wireless essentials....just checked now
Those plans are not new. They've been there for a while and have nothing to do with the changes on May 6th.
Line 1: (Mobilicity) BTS 25 on PAC - Unlimited local talk/text/data @ $23/month Line 2: (Wind) Irresistible35 - Unlimited everything @ $35/month Line 3: (Wind) Holiday Miracle - Unlimited everything @ $40/month Line 4: (Fido) Retention - Unlimited North America talk & text @ $50/month Line 5: (Wind) All in the Family Laptop - Unlimited data @ $15/month
All my posts are my own opinion only and not necessarily that of any of my employers, past or present.

Can you find those plans anywhere on Rogers' crappy website? No. Even under Wireless Essentials, the customer is kept in the dark as to what they are....but the customer can go ahead and order them and pay money for something that isn't explained!
The people who maintain the Rogers website are total retards. Even my stinky toe is capable of doing more. My dog licking his butt makes more sense than the corporate website.

Ummm...perhaps you were only looking on the consumer site? I just looked the plans up myself before I made that post. Windows devices are under Business, as are all regular data plans and data devices (and always have been, just like most carriers), therefore click "business", then click "Windows Mobile". Voila.

I think he's talking about all of the new crap in the "Update my wireless essentials" section of the website. There's definitely a bunch of new nonsense available in my profile that wasn't there last week. None of it comes with any explanation, but there you are.
**edit** Sorry, you're right. It seems like its the same plans, they're just listed four times each for some reason and have no description attached to them. Also, the $100 plan isn't listed, just up to the $60.

That's because the $100 plan isn't out yet and the plans currently listed have been there for a long time now. As I said a few posts above, nothing has changed yet. Cheers.

Strange how we couldn't see them before in the Wireless Essentials screen. I visit my online profile on a daily basis, and they did just pop up on there either Sat/Sun...
And as for the info being available on the "business" section of their website, you're right...I did not check there. But who would? Since when are businesses the only entities than have a use for data? Under Rogers' method of thinking, no consumer is interested in using data/browsing/email on their handset. I guess that's why we have these stupid pricing plans/options to begin with :]
The vast majority of data customers would. Data/PDA's/PC Cards are still primarily business services, even in the USA aside from consumer devices such as the Pearl and Sidekick and iPhone. Sure, data devices are slowly crossing over to consumers, IE Telus is now trying hard to convince consumers to give PDA's a try, but the reality is the $7 browsing plan is the consumer plan for all consumer phones. It's priced on the consumer scale, not business. The average Joe customer is still figuring out texts on an old RAZR, never mind some corporate suit-and-tie windows Mobile device. I deal with regular wireless customers every single day and most of them simply gawk at my Moto Q as if it were some gadget from Start trek and they think it's ridiculous. They buy many V9's and Nokia 6300's and phones with FM radios or pink paint before even one consumer buys a Windows phone in comparison. And generally, they have no interest in using data...they just want a keyboard for texting their girlfriends easily or "looking cool" with a keyboard lol. Certainly and without a doubt, those of us on Hofo who actually use the devices for much more do not represent most normal everyday customers at all. Cheers.
Well I am a consumer and own a Q9h, guess Rogers can not get it. People like me exist.
I bought a windows mobile device because it does much more than a normal phone but the place I work for will not pay for or buy a Q9h for me.
All they have to do is sell the phones to consumers,
Have a ads.....
Text with a normal Phone and Text with a Window mobile device.
Show somebody shopping a retrieving the list from their Windows Mobile Device.
Reading a book, navigating, passwords, email etc....
The reason why consumers are not jumping on the Windows Mobile bandwagon is because Rogers is thinking in terms of the past and not looking into the future.

Maybe they are looking to the future.. that is why they're pricing and marketing the products and plans the way they are.
Picture for the moment that you're in the business of making money and you possessed a crystal ball which said in 5 years the prices on plans and phones were going to hit an all time low. Wouldn't you price and bundle things in such a way that would make you the most money, and enough to last you through the pit-fallen prices?
I don't know about you, but when I'm eating an extraordinarily delicious chocolate bar, and I'm getting towards the end, I tend to take smaller and smaller bites to make the chocolate bar last longer.
It sounds like the $65 plan has already been locked down to PC Cards. I remember reading that as of the last week or two, the CSR's won't give it to you if you have a phone number on the account.
But I can't rememer where I read it
FYI, *every* active wireless account has a mobile phone number.
You can use your 1 GB for whatever you like if you pay $100. Tether it, do whatever. If you pay $65, you can still use it for whatever you like. The $65 plan cannot be on a SIM with a number though so if you want, you can go ahead and use your phone for internet only and no voice calls.
