Might give you less of a hassle with the Comm Pack if you're using a Motorola A1200, since it doesn't support Name Display.
Please don't PM me asking questions that could very easily be asked publicly.

Band I/1 = IMT, 2100 (rarely wrongly referred to as 1900/2100)
Band II/2 = PCS, 1900 (never wrongly referred to as 1800/1900)
Band III/3 = DCS, 1800 (never wrongly referred to as 1700/1800)
Band IV/4 = AWS, 1700 (often wrongly referred to as 1700/2100)
    Band V/5 = CLR, 850
    Band VIII/8 = GSM, 900

    The Rogers Lumia 710 only has 1, 2, 4, 5

I wonder when Rogers will change the web site 5 days to go.

I know on page one it was mentioned that a new $100 for 1 Gig for windows mobile will be added. I want to see if $40 for 8 Meg will be the same.

I hate paying $40 for basically not using my Window Mobile device for data but I guess only May 6 will tell.

I used 6 meg last month receiving mail from Rogers, Hotmail and work $40 is still cheaper than $65.

As it is I can not use data for browsing or get full use of my Q9h because I am too afraid that Rogers will change the rules and start charging $.05 per kb on everybody that is not using a PC card.

Use 6 meg get charged $40, is better than using 200meg find out a $10,000 bill as in my worse nightmare.

Even though I called them two months ago and they swore I have nothing to worry about.

that's one of the great things about Rogers, because if you actually got the CS to SAY that you have nothign to worry about, and ask them to put that note on your account (although since you said they swore two months ago that you have nothing to worry about, you can simply call to see if that note is on your account from that time period) and then use your data with no worry! Yes, if there is an error, they COULD charge you, BUT if they TOLD you that there is nothing to worry about and that note is on your account, then they'll just reverse the charges when you get your bill and you have nothing to worry about! ofcourse, You obviously can't KEEP using data if there was a problem, but at the very least you will get the charges reversed since they told you it was okay, and at the most you will see that you really did have nothing to worry about and case use whatever data you thought you had coming to you!

hey does anyone know if there getting rid of the $15 BB e-mail option. I know you can use opera mini and get free internet, but as of May 6th will the be gone?
I'm going to change my $20 communicate plan for the 15 one and add that 15 data plan as the free internet.

do you think that is a good idea?

Ummm....good chance it will be on Fido. It hasn't even been released on Rogers yet, but when it does it'll likely come to Fido at the same time as per usual or shortly after.

And once again, to those who cannot read and asked again, Mobilemail is the email service using the Rogers branded Mobilemail application on Rogers branded regular phones only. Just like MobiTV and UL surfing. No PDA's or Berries. Okay, clear now? Or will it have to be repeated on every page again?

    Line 1: (Mobilicity) BTS 25 on PAC - Unlimited local talk/text/data @ $23/month

Line 4: (Fido) Retention - Unlimited North America talk & text @ $50/month
Line 5: (Wind) All in the Family Laptop - Unlimited data @ $15/month

It is available for HUP, so as soon as stores have stock (prolly Monday) you are good to go.
