Has anyone confirmed that these new changes are in fact in place yet?

the site is a little confusing tho.
below on the 15 smartphone value pack page it says:
Now, $15 Value Pack customers can purchase Radio on Demand, Video on Demand, Mobile TV or Caller Ring Trax and Save 33%.

Then on the 33% page it states:
    * These are only available with the $15 and $20 Value Packs. Is not available with the $15 Smartphone Value Pack.

Im assuming there is a typo/error on one of those pages =)
    My Plans x2 (Fido): $50 Unlim wCanUS-LDandSMS/$30 6gig/$10 callID/vm (-$10credits.each) = $80+tax

so I went ahead and switched plans online, however I kept getting error code AM005, so I had to call in, and the lady was saying that they have gotten tons of calls with the same error code and that there is some issue on their site with switching to a new plan... Yay for Rogers!

Just called and international data is being launched on the 12th.. everything else is available, AFAIK.

Also, I had the best Rogers rep in my history of calling.... I wish I could get her every time. She even made a joke about it only being Tuesday. GOLD.

I'm on the phone with CSR. I had to show him about the new value pack. He took over a 15min to find and update for mine and my wife's.

The first month is free. So I'll save 2x $11. Whoo!!!

So I added the $15 (smartphone) value pack today.

    It includes:
    - Caller ID with Name Display
    - Enhanced VM
    - 2500 Sent TXT
    - 1000 Sent Pic/Vid Messages
    - WhoCalled
    - Mobile Backup

What I don't understand is why is this a smartphone value pack? I can understand if it had the unlimited on device mobile browsing, but this doesn't have anything (except maybe the pic/vid messages) that I would categorize as "smartphone" only. I checked my online account and it says it's there and compatible with the Pearl 8100R (based on my wireless history - the last phone I have from rogers is a pearl, but I now use an iPhone). Do you guys see any issues with me having this pack (ie. getting dinged extra charges) while using an iPhone instead of the Pearl? I really only care about the caller ID, vm and text anyway. The rest is there but I don't really care for.

How long does it take before it updates your plan on the website?

My CSR told me that she'd update it, but I still haven't seen anything on my profile.

MY pw did get reset for Voicemail (my new one is the enhanced voicemail)...

It updated right away. The my personal page lists the new updated $11 value package.

I checked the couple of features already.

It looks like the name display works with Treo680 in call history (not during the ring; when it rings it only displays the number).

MobileBackup is not supported on my phone. I don't really care since I sync to two PC.

WhoCalled, It works. It sends the text message with number, date/time stamp. I wish it had the Name display. It took sometime to receive the message tho.

Oh, my VM is not resetted yet. The CSR told me the new password but I can still login with old password.

I thought about this package as well. But I don't use more than 100 text message and I don't plan to use more. :P I wish they have one package with unlimited web for smartphones (including BB, WM, PalmOS). It doesn't make sense not to have web browsing on smartphones. Rogers could place a filter for the TCP/IP port, so it only allows the web-traffics. Oh well, we're stuck with Rogers for now. I guess.

It's just named a smartphone pack. I don't see why anyones confused lol. It means it's compatible with smartphones that have data plans. Obviously those people without smartphones will get the OTHER $15 pack. (excpet for the hofo'ers/techies who use unlocked phones and cannot benefit from the surfing option)
    Line 1: (Mobilicity) BTS 25 on PAC - Unlimited local talk/text/data @ $23/month
    Line 2: (Wind) Irresistible35 - Unlimited everything @ $35/month
Line 3: (Wind) Holiday Miracle - Unlimited everything @ $40/month
Line 4: (Fido) Retention - Unlimited North America talk & text @ $50/month
Line 5: (Wind) All in the Family Laptop - Unlimited data @ $15/month

Well now that I've added this package I don't have any other add-ons that I could verify the 33% with (I used to have international 7 text messaging but got rid of it today as well, don't need it anymore)...
