what's with this operating system specific value pack BS too... so if i have the $15 BB/WM Value Pack... what if i switch my sim to my Nokia N80? What is even funnier is there is nothing specific to those devices in the value packs. What about adding unlimited msn messanger on WM devices.
They aren't offering anything of value are they? They are obviously content where they are. We should have known things wouldn't get better when they announced they quarterly and profits were up on the strength of there data profits. To you Ted you ...
Not exactly. $65 for 1 GB still exist, for PC cards.
$100 for 1 GB is for phones of any kind, and you can tether.
Is an everyday consumer likely to pay $100 for 1gb though? Not likely. This plan is to appeal to there business /corporate BB users.

Clearly you're forgetting that up until now you have not been able to add the $20 pack to BB/WM devices. They have FINALLY fixed that problem by offering the new $15 value pack that does not conflict with BB/WM data plans.
This is a very good thing and a long time coming.
Line 1: (Mobilicity) BTS 25 on PAC - Unlimited local talk/text/data @ $23/month Line 2: (Wind) Irresistible35 - Unlimited everything @ $35/month Line 3: (Wind) Holiday Miracle - Unlimited everything @ $40/month Line 4: (Fido) Retention - Unlimited North America talk & text @ $50/month Line 5: (Wind) All in the Family Laptop - Unlimited data @ $15/month
All my posts are my own opinion only and not necessarily that of any of my employers, past or present.

Well yeah, cuz now you can have your regular BB or WM data plan plus all the extra advantages of the $20 VP. No UL surfing of course, lol, but 2500 texts/voicemail/CID/etc.

I agree this is a very good to have available we def need it but it is the ONLY thing there giving us of any value, the data plans as usual are absolute garbage.
I disagree
THe network is excellent and the technology that drives it works.
The pricing is ridiculous, but that's already been beaten to death
My comments are based on price. While I do believe Rogers does have a great infrastructure, in the end, it comes down to a balance of price versus quality of service (to me).
$20 Value Pack
Caller ID
Enhanced Voicemail
Name Display
Who Called
Mobile Backup
2500 Text Messages
1000 Pic & Vid Messages
Unlimited On-Device Mobile Browsing
[B]Unlimited MobileMail Messages
3 Months Unlim SMS/MMS
What is that Unlimited MobileMail Messages?
God, when would they offer decent data plan packages?
Just for comparison, Philippines has about 50 million subscribers offering unlimited 3g internet for its subscribers, yet the network isnt saturated as some people make it out if ever Rogers offer decent unlimited plans. All their reasoning is just BS.
^ Mobile Mail is the branded push email application built into some of the regular Fido/Rogers handsets. It's a carrier-specific service, much like the built-in Rogers IM service, MobileTV, etc.
