Thanks for the "how to guide", everything works great. I have CID53 and used JDFLASHER with no problems to access the phone. Will takes pics tonight to compare to other i've taken. So far the image seems much more stable.

If we delete the 1st cam shutter sound will that remove the sound from the burst shooting mode as well?

Not to be a complete and total noob here, but where can I find the elusive 3 files I need to flash my phone?

I've got a W810i from Cingular, nad have XS++ installed. I've backed up the GDFS (whatever that stands for), and clicked the "phone lock" button. Now I'm ready to flash new firmware, custom pack, and FS (file system?) to the phone. I just have no idea where to find the files I need. I've searched for an hour and a half now, and either I suck at internet searching, or they aren't as easy to find as one might think.

    Anyone have a little help?!?!

Yeap, been there, done that. I can find the firmware, and the filesystem. Can't find any custompacks, or new acoustic/video drivers (what I'm really wanting).

I'll keep looking though, I'll figure it out eventually.

how can i restore back to the factory audio drivers? i don't like the audio drivers suggested in the first post. it makes the sound a little too distorted and the sound changes between when the phone (w580i) is slid open and closed. when the phone is open, there is some static background noise and the voices are louder and more crackly but when i slide it closed, the background noise disappears but the voices are softer.

    thanks!

Several months down the road and I've found that the speaker phone sounds like complete garbage now... Anyone else agree? I've even had the speaker replaced by rogers under warranty...
