Unlimited Medianet is now Avaible for PayGo

$19.99 Unlimited Medianet is now Avaible for PayGo for those that dont know. It works just like the other feature packages...just buy it through the ivr. It was just rolled out 4/30/08 but the sites havent been fully updated. It had been planned for a minute but the actual annoucement/activation of it was short notice to even us customer service reps.

I have seen customers get their iphone to work for paygo with the "pay per use media net" so it should work for the "unlimited media net". Keep in mind ur customer support may lack & u may get the run around because ur phone it not set on the "correct way" aka pyp. In truth the iphone is not setup like most other phones that just have to go through att systems. Hopefully they open it up so paygo customers can get the iphone with unlmited media net/voicemail without the hussles.

Does ATT still send the annoying "0.00 data used" messages after every connection on Pay as You Go if you are using the $19.99 unlimited daa Feature Pack?

Unlike PYP, it has to be purchased every 30 days by calling 611.

Yeah they do, it drives me up a wall! I disabled the pinging sound on my LG CU500 so its not as annoying.

No. There is no international data roaming and international voice/text roaming is limited to Mexico.

Yes it does work with the iPhone I'm using it right now,I just got it today.seems as if at&t are adding this to destroy tmobiles new payg plan. There's slot of tmobile prepaid users wanting data on the new pp plan.

so what kind of rollover do you get if you refill with $9.99 or $4.99 within 30 days of adding an unlimited package?

When u buy the package before it expires that only extends it 30 days from that. If u added the $4.99 or $9.99 refill cards it only adds money & extends the exp for the acct itself. U have to buy the packages every 30 days. Its a unlimited pack so theres no real rollover. Far as the non-unlimited text/inernet packages they only rollover if u purchase the same package before it expires.

oh damn, that was a stupid question now that i think about it... because even if it did rollover isnt the max you can have on your account 15mb anyway. never mind
