Great hearing from you guys, should i email team@mobjab.<something>?
Just to advance in the subject, during initial tests i used wget as stated below: (just to trying connecting)
wget --header="Content-Type:application/vnd.wv.csp+xml" --post-file=post.txt www.mobjab.in
post.txt contains the xml tags refering to login request. That works fine and i was able to get the server answer (again in xml, as defined by IMPS spec)
but when using wbxml sintaxe: i used postBinary.txt file instead of post.txt (changed Content-Type as well - application/vnd.wv.csp+wbxml).
i was not able to get any response from the server.
below is the initial content of the postBinary file: (Plain text as in the file)
03 12 6A 00 C9 0B 03 31 2E 33 00 01 6D 6E 70 80 19 01 01 72...
i just initiate the discussion here because others could have facing the same problem, but i you would prefer discuss that via email, please just confirm the email address.
Thanks in advance,
S
Hi

Hello everyone,
I have a problem regarding appearing of my yahoo contacts, below are my steps:
1: Registered at mobjab.com with the username aleemashraf1
2: Logged into the Web Client and authorized all the yahoo contacts (Yahoo is the only IM service I use)
3: Defined a new access point for IM Client from the Configurations.
4: Logged into my 5130 Express Music's default IM Client.
5: My contact list is still emplty, 0 online and 0 Offline
6: Logged into the web client to check again
7: Once again I had to authorize each and every contact with the tedious process.
8: Logged into the phone again and still the contact list is empty.
And I repeated the above mentioned process again and again don't know why is it asking to authorize every time I log into the web client, and due to this exact same reason (I think) I am unable to see my contact list.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Edit: forgot to mention, my contact list has only around 30 contacts, so the lack of phone resources shouldn't be the issuer here.

Update: I logged into my mobjab account from bombus on my phone, even that is asking for authorization of my each and every contact every time I log into that.
So to sum up the question "Why do I have to authorize my contacts every time I log into mobjab?"
Hi
Details how to resolve it has been emailed to you. Regarding the web client asking for authorisation every time you login. Ignore it. It has to be done only once.

Thanks so much for that info on Email. Things are working better now except for the presence issue. Is there any way possible in the world to set the contact subscription to "BOTH". It is always set as "FROM" thus my contacts see me online and I can't see them. Not fair on me.
And I also feel a little slowness in receiving the messages. Can that be improved by any setting?
Hi,
I read couple of first pages and couple of last pages in this long thread, and it seems I have similar problem to some user posts - I can't see my contacts.
After registering and setting my phone, I started web applet and approved my contact's requests, but nothing on my phone, except two contacts I added manually and even I can't seem to make them work (they are like off-line, thou I know they aren't)
I'm using Google account (so XMPP), and my mobjab user-name is dejan_stojkovic
I really appreciate this clean/native way for IM, and would be happy if I manage it to work on my phone, with your help
Thanks in advance
Well, right after my post I am able to do IM with my contacts (those I added by hand, I guess others from my Google talk account will need re-authorization, right?), so everything is working fine right now. At least I think so, as all this settings on my old Nokia E61i was somewhat confusing
Thanks for making this possible and elegant![]()
me again
After using this for couple of days I noticed that IM on my phone works for half hour or so, and after that I get "Server error" if I try to send message, unreliable display of contacts statuses, and can't even log out unless I terminate IM on my phone.
I couldn't find the reason for this behavior so I guess it has something to do with mobjab server rather than my phone. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hi I just logged in using mobjab on my mobile and everything worked fine.. after sometime, now it fails to log in on my nokia 6230i and it says "Maximum conversations active" message and then nothing happens. This appears each time I log in
