I'm guessing you have the 1.3 version of wireless village installed as do I on my phone so no MSN for now.

Its listed on the MobJab site as something they'd like to implement in the future. I guess we'll see.

This is strange. Can you email us your username so that we can check? Also let us know which handset do you use.

Yes. You are right. On mobjab.net which supports ver 1.3 only Gtalk/XMPP support only.
Other External IMs on mobjab.net IMPS gateway we are working on that. No time frames as of now for this.

Dear Mobjab
I have registered mobjab & loged in http://www.mobjab.com/webchat and go to Account -> Manage Services. I can only see below 2 line but not the External trsansort.
User Directory
Conference Rooms
I can not see / add the External IM Trasport. The Acount Management Services never ask me authorisation for adding the buddy on the external network.
From other previous post. The manage services should show below.
User Directory
Conference Rooms
Yahoo! Transport (Missing)
ICQ Transport (Missing)
AIM Transport (Missing)
MSN Transport (Missing)
Could you check any problem on my account or Mobjab's system?
My username at mobjab is "ivanpun"

Having read through the previous pages of posts i'm still at a loose end.
I'm using a Nokia E71-1, RM-346, running firmware version 200.21.118
After adding my MSN account I don't receive the subscription request, whether this is using the web client or first access on my handset.
I've tried adding and removing the account a few times now, but to no avail.
My user is systanford. I was wondering if you'd be able to help me out?
Thank you for your time in advance.
Sy
Hi Sy
You dont receive subscription request per se. You just need to authorise the presence/status.
Checked your account. It seems to be fine. When you login to the web client or handset do you see your contacts online/offline there?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the great service. This is exactly what I was looking for; I am not too fond of needing to have Fring or Nimbuzz autolaunch each time I power on the phone, and your solution allows me to use the built-in IM client on the N85.
Built-in IM client on the N85? Yes, I said that, and I mean it. You won't see it in any menu, though; it is hidden. To launch it, you need to use the voice prompt (hold down the right soft key in the idle screen) and say "Instant Messaging".
Just found that out here, and I thought I'd pass it on.
Again, thanks MobJab!

Now for a problem (you knew it had to come, didn't you?):Originally Posted by mobjab

Now, it is true that I tried to setup these services (actually not AIM, just ICQ), but since it turned out that the relevant accounts had long since expired, I also tried to use your Web client to remove them (by choosing "Manage services" in the menu). I'm really only interested in Yahoo! messenger. However, these messages persist.Originally Posted by aim.mobjab.com
Is there any way to make them go away?
While I'm at it, I also do not see the presence status of my contacts on my N85 - they all appear to be offline (they show up correctly on the Web client though).
