Ummm, I think that book is for the Bold. I think since the Bold is already out in Canada that the book is released earlier but the AT&T Bold should come out in Oct so it's coming out later. I don't know, just my guess.

Look at the enlarged picture of the cover... It says right there in plain english "Unlock the full power of your new touchscreen blackberry".

The book covers "Learning to use the new touch-screen" which the Bold does not have.

I think it will have Docs To Go with the ability to edit and view doc and ppt files like in the 4.5 OS's but they also might have the attachment service which will enable to view a lot of other different documents. I don't have a list off the top of my head though.

given the correct software, yes you can edit microsoft word documents on a blackberry
