Looking thru the documentation, this was referred to as the i908. This could very well be T Mobile's version which would make sense as they really don't have much of a 3G network. Though I'm not sure as T-Mobile's Samsung's all end in 9.

Stuff I read says the i900 is the base model and the i908 is this model. I wouldn't get too spun up over this yet.

Mobilecityonline has it listed at $599 for preorder. Anyone know if this is the 8Gb or 16Gb version? No answer to my email to them so far.

8GB has not been released yet. 16GB is the only one that's available right now. 8GB will be released in July end or August. I called Popularelect.com people. They r local to me like 30 minutes. They will have Omnia tomorrow so i will check it out for American 3G band before i buy. It is pricey a bit at this moment.

Yes, I know the 16GB is the only model available at the moment but since they dont specify which one they have and dont currently have stock its possible that could be the price of the 8GB when its released in August.
Though its probably not seeing as the price has not gone up to $799

It's up to $799 now.
The specs says 3G US but the Product Overview says the opposite, 2100 band.
I'm looking forward to someone testing it out and finally ending the confusion.

yea definitely! i'll be taking a LOT of pictures lol so i'll make sure I post them all... haha...
i'll take some shots of the phone too so you guys can get an idea of the size and everything too, I can compare it to my Nokia 6103, HTC S710, i-Mate KJAM(T-Mobile MDA)... etc... I can't wait to get it though... sucks I have to wait until Friday to order it($$) and then shipping but I think i'm gonna go with the $30-40 shipping to get it in a few days, as opposed to $10 6-8 Week! :-O!
if possible I'll try to take a video of it in action to show you guys how the UI is too!
