Has anyone tried the inex hypersim on T-mobile with the SH905i? I can't get it to work. Could it be because I have an old sim card? This own hypersim thing is very new to me
What kind of inex hypersim is it? If its the new one for sh905i assuming the makers in tw tested it on the same network as the other cards p905i/n905i/etc it should work with sh905i on t-mobile. If its the older hypersim it has been reported to be working in canada and other places but it may or may not work here.
inex hs128 the one released for the p905i after march16(?), works on p905i with rogers 3040.
Been using it for more than a week now and haven't had any issues yet. Was cruising round last night, RH area to Uxbridge area, seemed to reconnect to network with no problems (from what i noticed). Just make sure ur network settings are on GSM/GPRS and not auto.

Yupe I got the new one for SH905i. My t-mobile sim with hypersim can't be recognized with any phone, and I'm going to try and see if I can get a new sim today (my sim card is very old lol). Hopefully that solves the problem. AT&T with hypersim doesn't work on SH905i.

I had the same exact problem. At first nothing worked but I decided to replace my SIM card because the old one was pretty much ruined with all the cuttings...but then when I tried again with the new card everything was okay...including the P905i.
Nothing works for AT&T right now, it is stated on the HyperSim listing on eBay. NextSim actually is more stable than HyperSim so you can save a few bucks buying that instead. I have now tried on 3 different T-Mo cards (all within 2 years old) and they all works perfectly.

where did u get the inex hs128?? from ebay? do u hav a link?
u didn't have to take the simhack out & place it in a nokia/se..etc. phone right??
so how many types of inex hypersims are there?
my seller told me that there are only 2 types.
one is the inex for softbank (which i heard is also the pss sim), and the other ones are the docomo ones made for the specific phone..
is that true?
im confused as to the reason why none of the 905i series would work on at&t like the do have the 1900 band like t mobile is it the sim card that at&t uses? or is it the phone that wont work on the network? and from a more experienced point of view do u think that it would work w/ at&t?

AT&T sold its 1900Mhz network to T-Mobile, from what I'm reading here on HoFo. Hence, it's mostly 850 and tri-band phones won't work on that network. Even if they had good 1900 coverage, the SIM card versions/types would also be an issue, if Rogers/Fido here in Canada is any indication.

Too many.
Officially there are four, PSS-SIM for SoftBank/Sharps, PSS-SIM for iPhone, Hypersim for SoftBank/Sharps, Hypersim for iPhone. They're all from the same source, so they're all the same, using the same iNEX128 chip. The other ones are either knock-offs or alternate chips.
damn i soooo missed out on yesterday's meet up =[ i wanted to try one of jon_lai's china3gp cards.. err i'm still stuck with making outgoing calls and the few texts and calls i can rarely recieve..
i'm using a nextsim for 904sh, from the same seller who sold the v6 combo sim (which i now traded with my friend) and a fido sm32 card..

Changed my sim card, and it did work though I'm not so stoked about having to pay $20 to get a new card
As for the NextSim mentioned, I did a search on ebay. Is it the same V5 for iphone?
