To Rogers or Fido peeps who need a different SIM card version, alls you gots ta do is get it on BST and NOT from Rogers or Fido to get a good deal. Or ask me.

Anyways I've received word from the alvin guy and he's shipped his Next sim V7 sample, I should be able to test it by maybe friday (assuming it gets here on time and doesn't get mauled by customs) Hopefully it'll work with my sims.

As for the NextSim mentioned, I did a search on ebay. Is it the same V5 for iphone?

no the Nextsim I had before was a V6 Combo sim which had US/Euro Iphone and 904sh programming.. then I switched with a friend who got one from the same seller but was specificaly for the 904sh, after that my P905i was able to recieve a call but only 3x before going back to only being able to call and text out..

question regarding the hacked sims

I've read through some of the information on these pages here knowing that they're based on the same chipset. I'm looking over ebay right and I see a seller selling P905i with charger with the cellphone unlocked (via hypersim). I'm just wondering if hypersim will work with Rogers?

are you serious? I killed my sim once and I had to pay $28 CAD for a new one from rogers.

arg* my P905i issues are getting to me, it decides when it wants to randomly receive a call or sms.. signal is no problem, i have reception almost anywhere and when i'm underground as soon as get back out again it automatically reconnects.. why is it that that this older version of nextsim seems to be working for others just not for me =\

I believe they're the same as the official DoCoMo Hypersims.

I just purchased my SH905i today along with the iNex SH905i only hyper sim!!
Wish me luck, as I never have any.....

A generalised question for everyone;
Any of these problems that may occur, can we assume they are mainly caused by the SIM hack itself or the carrier itself.
In other words if someone is having a problem with a SIM in a Docomo handset would there be a chance that the SIM and handset would work better if there was another carrier involved ?
Does that make sense ?
