Well, So far. All the Keitai's I used, I havent got any problems.
I did have 1 prob with internet connection, but I called Docomo and they called me back with a correction within 30 min.
And when they told me Give us 30 min. they actually called 30 min later on the dot.
My Keitai's jump between T-mo and Att for call and data connections.
Basicly: I connect to Foma Network thrue T-Mo or Att. So this is probebly why I cant Update Phones Software.
I did get an error once telling me something about Security. the way docomo explained it to me was: That our networks do not support the type of SSL connection needed and/or does not support the one or more Security Certificates needed to create a required SSL connection for Software Update.
The way I look at it: Foma sends out the certificate and my phone sends out the same certificate for validation, but what ever network im currently connected to looks at it and does not know what to do with it. causing the secure connection to FAIL.
my FOMA USIMs are all deactivated. I have a deactivated SoftBank USIM with a password that's long forgotten and an active roaming SoftBank USIM coming in the mail~~~
I'm not sure what hypersim or whatever the hell you call it, the one chip that you put into your SIM card to do the unlocks and multimedia locks, blah blah...
Anyway, I'm not sure which one I'm going to get with my 812SH, but looking at a lot of these, it looks like you're going to have to cut your SIM card.
Consider the following:
I have a T-Mobile prepaid SIM card. So, say if I were to cut it and everything, put the hypersim chip into the SIM card and get my phone to work and all, everything is happy and nice and lovely.
Now, if I were to turn off the phone, take out the hypersim and place the SIM card back inside of my American phone (the Nokia described above by my name), would it still be able to read it? Or would it be unreadable to it because of the parts cut out?
AND, if such an event were to happen, could I go to T-Mobile, and ask for another SIM card with the same number, and just use the cut one for my 812SH, and the new untouched one for my Nokia?

it still reads as long as the sim card metal contacts make contact with the sim card slot of the phone it will be ok. I still use my cut up sim on different phones.
if you go to the tmo store, you ask for scissors and cut on the spot on the new sim ionnuke does that

Nothing wrong with that~~~ I wanted to use my phone and a fresh new SIM card wasn't gonna fit so I had to clip a corner off

Assuming you got the 812SH multimedia unlocked. Yes you can turn the phone off. And take the SIM and hypersim out. However just don't turn the phone back on without a sim card and hypersim together or you'll lose the multimedia unlock and you'll have another field day trying to get it unlocked.
Your phone number is tied to the SIM card. Wherever the SIM card goes the phone number assigned to that SIM card follows.
Are you buying the phone without a hypersim and you have to get the hypersim seperately or does it come with the whole thing?
