So in a nutshell, t3h OUT syndrome is still with us sadly, but its not as bad anymore. The newer hypersims have auto recovery junk in them now so they auto recover....sometimes. XD

Some phones we have software unlocked now so that we don't need hypersims anymore. (I'm not sure if you knew that or not XD)

I think a lot of the OUT problems only happen in Canada. That's the strange part. But in the US its a rare thing. Whenever I get OUT, I try to reproduce the same problem and it usually won't happen.

Since I live in the middle of no where and have to take the tollway to the city, it's a perfect way to test hypersims where I go from having some reception, to nothing to full reception. There are sections of the tollway where everyone has zero reception and I've gotten the signal to reconnect (no CPR) on SH905i, P905i, and P906i.

    It's all good (^_^)

Everyone's on their own for hypersims. I'm out har har har har har~~~~

..its strange becaue this whole time you are tyring to get a situation in which CPR is required..but up in Canada, there has been quite a bit of whining. but at least the hypersims are more reliable

It is strange. In my town I have to drive through flat land with zero civilization for 20 or 30 miles before I go into a real town full of people so there's a lot of situations that my phone says OUT or 圈外. And some times I purposely go into places where I know won't give me signal with a normal mobile phone and I can still walk back out and have signal reconnect. It's very strange indeed!

Uh, I don't know about you guys but I think we can bury the whole Canada Keitai wireless issues thing now with the newer simcards and phones. Either that or you just need a certain setup =\

How much do those new '3G Sims' cost? Is it still phone specific? Any link to see what they look like? Thanks.

3G sims you get from your service provider...
3G supporting hypersims (HYPERSIMS ARE NOT SIMS. If you don't know what a hypersim is, its time to use everyone's friend, Mr. Google) are basically any moderately priced (as in $20+) hypersim made in the last 6 months.

Looks like someone should do more research before getting a keitai. ;]

how do you know if the sim hack is working or not for your sim or it just needs CPR?
if the sim hack does not work, should it say sim not recognized or just out of service area?
