tried NextSIm(does not require cutting card). does NOT work with Fido ST32. Can only make outgoing calls/SMS. cannot receive calls or SMS..

Tada! Just got my "i-smartphone 2008" SIM hack and it works fine with my P905i and a Rogers 3030 (Rogers AT&T) SIM!!!!!!!!!!! AHH!HH!!!!! I'll test this baby out to see how reliable it is, but so far, so good. It's on set on automatic network type, by the way. Doubt 3G will really fully work, but who knows. And lol at my poor SIM...had to cut it up again...hahah

I have no idea what http://www.i-smartphone.com/ is, but I got mine from a referral on HoFo from the gal behind www.meimeiqueen.com lol

lol i got that same case for my sim hack that came with the phone but it called geuey, it wouldnt let me call out and it would freeze my normal phone from time to time.

lol your sim is still bigger then mine D: I did a crappy job of recutting and chopped off basically a bit more then 1/2 the sim >_> (might post pics later but...lazy)

the sim looks similar to a V7.....I'm too lazy to pop out my sim to check though

PS. OMG those P905i Viera pictures are FALSE ADVERTISING! I thought the red was bright red lol not 903sh red....Aw I would've gotten a red one instead of black if I knew that D:

I would've got a White one but like honestly I already have a white 903 and 904sh its kind of overkill.

hi, quick question... for sh905i phone which hypersim is the best? that doesn't rebooting the phone, no problems when the phone is on? i've seen a lot of hypersim i don't know which one is the best?

I'm selling Japanese phones and pss-sim in toronto. The pss-sim for P905i&SH905I&SO905I is $45. It doesn't work on rogers 4000 and fido ou sim card for p905i.

hey guys I was wondering did anyone encountered the problem with p905i saying UIM unrecognized when you put in a normal sim card in my case its rogers 3040 sim card. Then I applied my hyper sim with it it turned to "Insert UIM" I tried many times and I even tried my pss sim for my 920sh and it still says "insert UIM" but when I took out the hyper card it turns back to "UIM unrecognized". My phone was produced in March 2008 you think there's some new things added into the phone to prevent ppl from hacking it with sim hack?

Probably is just your SIM don't work with iNex HyperSim. I had the same exact problem with my older T-Mobile SIM card, but after I replace it it works fine.

That is because the chip is designed for Softbank phones in the first place....those thing were never meant for DoCoMo phones and it just so happened that it works with certain Carrier's SIM cards. I suggest you read other threads there have been quite few people sharing on which one works and which one doesn't.

This whole thing is kind of insane, unless the multiple threads here confuse the issue.
Basically you buy this mobile and then get the SIM hack but you don't really know which one will work and then it also depends on the carrier as well as the type of SIM within a particular carrier ??
How is someone supposed to know which SIM hack to buy ? At these prices it may be an expensive process to find the right item.
I think this particular thread is a good thing but it has just gotten to the point as to add more fuel to the fire, it's just more confusion, especially for someone not on a Canadian carrier.
