hi guys, i got a confusing problem with my sh906i

recently i came back from hk and ive been using my smartone sim card with ismartphone 2008 with no problems at all, i came back to canada and put my fido M32 sim card in with the ismartphone 2008 and received signal, able to make and receive calls and same with sms, but after turning the phone off i cannot receive signal anymore. i put back my smartone sim card and can receive signal which means that the problem could not be with the ismartphone so im very confused right now on what the problem is

any help is greatly appreciated thanks

I have a question regarding hypersim: in some forums people say that there is a anti-cpr hypersim, is this really true, which one is this?
On e-bay there are the new i-smart 2009 hypersims they say, there's no signal out problem anymore with them, should I trust or should I go for an inex?

the only true part about anti cpr is that the hypersim is able to recover signal after but this does not mean you don't have to do any cpr method.

So that means the new i-smartphone hypersim can recover signal, too. is it like inex, that you need only restart the phone?

Have you set it to GSM mode, and to manually search for rogers?

I wonder how fast the sim unlock makers will be able to support the new Bell/Telus HSDPA networks when they go online later in the year...

^ I don't see why not, assuming you're not using them all together and they're compatible. =D

no that is another thing with Softbnaks.

Other than the MM unlcok, once the hypersim is enabled to a sim card then that hypersim will only recognize that simcard you inserted

^ I think recognition depends on WHICH SB phone we're talking about, does it not?

nope... you are thinking of phone recognizing cards such as inex. It is possible to make a universal hypsersim as shown by ionnuke, but as stated previously, new SB phone's sims are molded to the hypersim
