After you write the settings to the phone and the phone restarts open up the phone and type:

##LGSERVICEMENU and hit send
Type Six 0's for code
Hit 8
Hit OK
Hit OK

Should Connect to server with the "Funds" message
Hit OK

Start Downloading... This is the test server so it will not charge your account...

After you download you can access your download by going to get it now from the standard menu and clicking on Tools on the go...

All downloads are stored there...

Yes, the last ten digits should be your MIN: That's how it works for Cricket. If not, try your MDN.

i didn't change my subscriber id, im using metro. i edited my brew settings and downloaded tokyo drift. it says that $9.99 will be charged to my funds account.. are we sure this is free ?lol

Is it the same as your MDN or MIN number?

In my experience, it automatically populates with whatever you used for your WAP and Data settings.

dont change your subscriber ID.
I have found out recently that sometimes that number is the same as your phone number and sometimes it is not. IF you change it you wont have service anymore. Your phone will be roaming. You gotta keep yours the same.
For me I found out that mine is not the same as my phone number and metro told me the only way to match them is to change my phone number and try to get a matching set.

in NV Edit, its on the Brewtab and called Subscriber ID.
This number Metro calls the MIN.
You can also locate this number on the system tab I believe.

Okay, that's what I was saying.

The Subscriber ID in the Brew tab should pick up the user's MIN (if that's what the user populated the Data and WAP tabs with).

Changing the System ID in NV Edit's Brew tab shouldn't prevent you from making phone calls.

Why is "Reno" and "Text1181" saying they got mms incoming but not posting up your settings, i'm NOT trying to start any trouble but its almost 1000 members on here working on getting mms to work by Y'ALL posting them settings up everybody could work together to get it to receive picture completely! So can u please please post up the nv edit MMS tab settings that u have so far so we could resolve this! Im still working off the cricket settings but the most i got was message expired or not available! And thats because i use http://mms.metropcs.net for the MSC SERVERNAME spot! Thats a big jump to be able to get incoming to almost come in but not able to read it, so again whats ur settings so we could be on the same page as you all!

I dont have incoming MMS and trust me you dont want any of the settings i have tried they brick the phone everytime!

on nv edit if you go on the sms tab and change the sms/ems max submit message size to say 320 will this brick my phone??

im wonderng that too, that would be really convenient because after 160 characters i always get an error when my texts roll over to more than 1 page.
