Metro pcs web settings for Newly Flashed Phones

i'm reading and searching as much as possible but am confused and missing info... once i do find the correct info i will post it in all the related threads

I got the Helio Ocean unlocked and ready to fire up, but how do you pull up the needed screen to enter web access info, like is it done on phone or on PC using app like cdma workshop??

does any one have any recommendations for flash (Verizon VS Sprint) on the V9m and is it even possible to make these settings work on the sprint?

I have MetroWeb working on my LG VX-8500. It's not perfect yet, but its working.

Here are the settings I am using:

Primary Address: wap.metropcs.net
Secondary Address: wap.metropcs.net

Primary Port: 3128
Primary LXL Port: 3128
Secondary Port: 0
Secondary LXL Port: 0

Username: 0000000000

User Password: Blank (Nothing)

Homepage: http://wap.metropcs.net

You must have MetroWeb on your account. After you access the browser, you have to restart the broswer from the settings menu. It might take a couple of restarts, but it does work.

ok, so correct me if i a wrong,
i have to setup my v3m as i just lost my v9m off the boat....
i need to:
esn swap with metro
flash my sprint v3m with verizon's flash
upload prl 68 (metro)
reprogram with my number
change my wap and mms settings to what is listed (thanks logic)

and i'm in business? thanks-Josh

i dont know y but i just cant get the internet working on my voyager. ive tried almost everything now but it just wont seem to work.

Does anybody Know if you can get the LG Dare to work on metro? and has anyone in here actually gone to a store and actually had their phone flashed, i know about flashing and i know where to go get it done here in good ole atl, but i want to know if the phones metro has on their flash list are fully functional or do u lose web, mms, and texting? i dont want to buy a phone on that list or any other one for that matter that doesnt work fully. can somebody help me out? im dying to get the dare and may move to verizon to get it, but i love my metro service and want the dare with them, and i could settle for getting the voyager on metro but if i cant use it for all of what its good for i wont buy it. get at me on this thread or via email asap... mstip7@yahoo.com

ya i have had them flash a few phone for me before i figured it out...they will flash any phone on the houdini(or how ever it is spelled) phone list. but they will not be able to setup your web or MMS they tell you that upfront....not because they don't want to offer it (+$5 a month)but they have no way of setting up all phone and houdini doesn't do all the settings yet..in time they will offer it on the more common phones i would imagine-Josh

these settings almost worked for my voyager... the browser tries to connect for a longer period of time than previous settings... i'm still getting a problem somewhere as it doesnt actually connect

my web works now!!! i restarted the phone completely....

altho the metropcs home doesnt work.... says some kind of cocoon error

congrats on the web working and yeah that hope page is weird for me to sometimes its the metro homepage sometimes its the other page its normal

yeah i wasnt worried about their homepage that doesnt help my phone at all either... it ended up working later... just not the first 5 times i tried web
